Chapter 280 - WHERE ARE YOU GOING (1/2)

Mu Lingxi was planning to visit Schoolmaster Yin's office that night, alone.

She does not wish to disturb her friend's rest that is why she did not wake anyone of them.

But when she comes out of the bathroom after getting changed, Mu Lingxi saw that the lights of the room were already turned on.

All of her friends were already awake and was staring at her with the same questioning look in their faces.

”Where are you going???”

Yun Xue asked when he saw that Su Yan (Mu Lingxi) was not wearing a pajama and looked as if it was planning to go out in the middle of the night.

He heard Su Yan (Mu Lingxi's) was whispering and talking to someone else.

That is why as soon as his friend runs to the bathroom, he immediately turned on the light to see who he was talking to.

But he soon realized that there is no one inside the room aside from them.

The rest of the group was also wondering where Su Yan (Mu Lingxi) was planning to go at this time of the night.

They had the same question marks reflecting in their faces as they looked at Mu Lingxi who just came out of the bathroom.

They were woken up from their sleep when Yun Xue turned on the light inside their room.

”I'm going to see Schoolmaster Yin and consult him about something.”

As she said that, Mu Lingxi show her friends the handprint that she had on her right arm

”Where did you get that??!”

Since Yun Xue was standing closest to Mu Lingxi at that time, he was the one who got a better view of what Mu Lingxi had in her arms.

”Is that a handprint???”

Long Yue asked when he decided to have a closer look.

”I  think I got it from my dreams...”

Mu Lingxi said as she scratched the back of her head.

Although she was telling the truth, Mu Lingxi still can't help but find her answer lame.

After all, who could get a handprint from her dreams?

I've been dreaming about the lady in the chalice lately. Then tonight, when I dreamt about her again, she grabbed me in my arm. When I woke up, I already had this. That is why I decided that I need to talk to Schoolmaster Yin.”

Mu Lingxi told her friends everything that she had experienced ever since she started dreaming about the lady.

”Wait for me, ill just have my pajamas changed. I'll come with you.”

Long Yue said as he hurriedly went inside the bathroom without waiting for Mu Lingxi's reply.

”We're going too.”

Yun Xue said.

Long Fuzi and the others nodded their head as well when Yun Xue looked at them.

”There is no need, guys.”

Mu Lingxi appreciates the concern that they were giving her, but she still feels embarrassed inconveniencing her friends this late.

Instead of them having a good rest, here they are worried about her and they were even planning to accompany her to Schoolmaster Yin's office.
