Just like the land of Echurid, the Sanguine Tundra is also believed to be the place of dwellings of the Necromancers during the ancient times before it was turned into a wasteland after the war.

Furthermore, Schoolmaster Yin also learned some inside information about the place. It was said that

Somewhere within the midst of that wasteland called Sanguine Tundra lies a secret that had been buried together with the annihilation of the practitioners of necromancy

It was said that an Ancient Chalice can be found in that place and that Ancient Chalice was believed to be used by the necromancers during their sacrificial offerings.

If Schoolmaster Yin could get his hand over that item, then he could be able to further understand the intricacy of soul arts.

But as an official warlock, not to mention a schoolmaster of a prestigious school of magic, the Magus Academia, it was below him to personally search for this item.

It won't look good for him if he would be seen entering an uncharted territory just to acquire a hidden treasure for himself.

Aside from that, these kinds of opportunities are made available for the young warlocks and sorceresses by means of accepting school missions. As such, he needs help from Mu Lingxi's group.

After all, he was also doing this to help them. So Schoolmaster Yin believes that it is not like he was purposely trying to take advantage of the other party.

He would be able to get his hand over the item that he needed to further his knowledge in soul arts. At the same time, he would also be able to help this group of warlocks to resolve their problem.

Curiosity is one of the known banes of mankind. Anything that seemed to be inexplicable to someone only draws them more to try it out.

So Schoolmaster Yin finds the need to give them a proper heads up and not to leave them wondering among themselves. Lest they would be tempted by the unknown.

Since it was Schoolmaster Yin who personally asked them for the mission, he also gathered all the information available for the place.

So that Mu Lingixi and her friends no longer have to bury themselves under books just to do their research for the newly discovered uncharted territory.
