Mu Lingxi left Mu Ruochen's study room in a daze as she was talking to her cat through their mental link.

Mu Ruochen intends to follow after her but he was stopped by the concrete wall. When he saw with his two own eyes how his granddaughter was able to pass through the walls just like that, he was flabbergasted.

But despite his surprise, he knows that it is not the right time to daze over it. Since he cannot follow Mu Lingxi through the wall, he ran as fast as he could outside of his study room.

He looked around the place to search for his granddaughter but she did not saw anyone. There is no one outside. It is empty as how it always be.

”Is she a ghost??!”

Did I just talk to a ghost??

Is that the soul of my deceased granddaughter????

Grief caused Mu Ruochen to fall on his knees as he cried his eyes out. Thinking about the 'soul' of his granddaughter visiting him that night.

Little did he know that all those weird feelings that compelled him to tell  Mu Lingxi about everything are not because he was talking to soul with unfinished business.

It was all beause of the Wish Liquid that Mu LIngxi drank before meeting him.

Mu Lingxi wished for the other party to tell her eveything that she needs to know about her identity. As such Mu Ruochen was compelled to do so.

She was walking along with the tall trees when she recalled the Wish Liquid.

”It seemed that this Wish Liquid is really effective.”

She said as he observed the flask of Wish Liquid in her hands. It was her first time experiencing its effect firsthand

While she was walking among the trees, she heard Long Yue's voice.

As she said that, Mu Lingxi  extended her hand to give the flask of Wish Liquid back to Long Yue, while her other hand tried to remove the hood that was covering her face so that she can see Long Yue clearly

When she lifted her gaze to look at the other party, there she saw Long Yue staring back at her with an expression as if he had seen a ghost.
