”Clan head..”

Long Fuzi said as he slightly nods his head to greet the other party. Since he was a prince, a standing far higher than the Clan Head, he does not need to bow his head just to show his respect.

Just the fact that he greeted him first is already a huge sign of respect in his part, considering that he was of noble standing.

Mu Ruochen, of course, did not dare to put his air in front of Prince Long Fuzi.

He clasped his hand in front of him and bowed his head low to pay his respect to the two princes who are present at the moment.

As soon as he said that, Mu Ruochen instantly gestured to the attendant next to him and instructed the other party to lead Long Fuzi's group straight to his study room.

When he looked at the group of warlocks standing before him, Mu Ruochen's eyes were instantly drawn to the lanky young man that was standing at the back of the group.

For some reason, this lanky young man gives him a sense of familiarity. There is something about the other party that make him feel that way, though he could not exactly put a finger about what it is.

But he could swear that it was his first time meeting the other party.

That is also the very reason why his interest was caught by the lanky young man right away. Because in his entire life, it was so rare for him to have an affinity towards another person, especially with just a glance.

Thinking that there must be an important reason for Prince Long Fuzi's abrupt visit, Mu Ruochen instructed all of his personal attendants as well as the guard station nearby to leave the place for the meantime.

Most likely, the other party was here to discuss something private with him.

As a result, only Long Fuzi's group and Mu Ruochen were left in the study room.

Long Fuzi nodded his head in commendation to the Clan Head's keen deduction over the situation.

It is not for no reason that Mu Ruochen becomes the Clan Head and leads the Mu Clan to the peak of its heights.

His observation and attention to detail, as well as his considerations, were really up a notch.

”Clan Head, this are my friends as well as my classmates from Magus Academia.”

As soon as the group was settled inside the study room, Long Fuzi introduced Chan Gu and the others to the head of the Mu Clan.

”We are here for a school mission, and I wish to as for your help.”

This is what the group had agreed upon during their meeting this morning. They believe that it would be best if they would mask their actions as part of the school mission.

With the pretext of accepting a mission related to a warlock that had gone missing and was last seen in the Long Kingdom around 18 years ago.

Of course, they left the part that the warlock could very much likely be the apprentice necromancer that managed to survived the annihilation of the forgotten practice of necromancy.

”You wish to learn the matter that happened 18 years ago???”

Mu Ruochen was taken aback when he heard Long Fuzi's request. Even inside his clan, the matters concerning Mu Lingxi's parents was a huge taboo.

This is enough to show the extent of how much the Mu Clan was taking that incident that happened 18 years ago seriously.
