It did not take long for Janus to feel that he was being lifted on the air.

”Ohh Janusssssss... My dearrrrrr....”

”Mu Lingxi hugged her cat tightly. His soft fur brought undeniable comfort to her as she places Janus next to her cheeks.”

”MAWWWRRR”

[Hey! Hey! Stop right there! What are you planning to do?!! NOOOOOOOOOO!!!]

Janus issued a low growling in annoyance as he keeps pushing Mu Lingxi's face away from him using his two paws.

He was trying hard to put a safe distance between him and his master.

”Oh c' mon! Let me kiss you... What's the matter? HAHA”

Mu Lingxi was pouting as she said that, she can't help but laugh seeing her cat struggling away from her kiss.

Janus' paws were pushing her mouth away. Annoying her cat this way never fails to brighten up her mood.

”Thank you, Janus...”

She said from her heart as she put her cat down.

When Janus finally regain his footing, he glared back at Mu Lingxi.

”Hmph! I was overthinking! This little lass can manage just fine. Go on life... She can take it all... Don't mind what I have said just a while ago. Haixt!!”

”No! Please! Listen! It's not what you're thinking... Wait.....”

”Enough! Just leave her alone!”

Not too far from where they were standing, they heard a commotion.

It was a man and a lady engage in a heated argument.
