But he chose otherwise. What he did is he brush his head and body next to Mu Lingxi. Just like what he used to do before in their parallel world whenever he saw his master being sad.

After that, he put his left paw above Mu Lingxi's left hand. Like a comforting friend would do. His blue bright eyes stared at Mu Lingxi's tear-stained face and said,

[Little lass, you can cry for as long as you wanted. But after this, you have to be strong. There's more than that awaits for us in the future. But no matter what, rest assured that I will stay by your side. We will always be partners in crime. Okay????? So cheer up. You're not alone.

Even if the whole world betrays you, I will not. Even if everyone shuns you, I will stay by your side. If they go against you I'll fight for you....
