The self-satisfaction felt by Wu Chen when Yi Fei told her mother that she had a boyfriend couldn't be described by word. He felt so proud of Yi Fei and at the same time, he felt appreciated.

”WHATTTTTT??????” Yi Fei's mother screamed.”Yi Fei's dad, come here. Your daughter said she has a boyfriend. Come, take a look at her if she's lying” Yi Fei's mother began calling her husband.

Wu Chen could hear a deep male voice approaching the phone. ”What did you said? Boyfriend? Who is your boyfriend? How come you have a boyfriend without telling me? Who is he?”

From the tone of the voice, Wu Chen knew that Yi Fei's father must be protective of her. He needed a strategy to win over him or it would be hard for him to date Yi Fei later on.

”Bring your boyfriend to see me when you're going back during the school holiday. I need to see if he is qualified to be your boyfriend” Yi Fei's dad now monopolized the phone. Yi Fei's mother looked like she was on cloud nine after Yi Fei told her that she has a boyfriend.

Yi Fei told them that she'll try to. The family talked for a bit before the father decided to end the video call.

Yi Fei sighed.”Did you hear it? Do you want to come with me to see my parents?” Yi Fei did not have high expectation towards Wu Chen because she knew that Wu Chen must be busy but she was over the moon when she heard of Wu Chen's response.

”Alright, I'll clear my schedule at that time”. Both of them smiled happily.

The embarra.s.sment she felt when they kissed a few moments ago was long forgotten because of the video call. Yi Fei suddenly remembered the dish in the sink so she wanted to go and checked it. When she stood up, Wu Chen stood up too.

So, Yi Fei started walking to the kitchen and Wu Chen followed behind her.

”What are you doing? You should head back now. It is half an hour after ten” Yi Fei really wanted him to go back. Who knew what will happen if Wu Chen insisted on staying.

”Didn't you say that the air conditioner in your room was broken? I think I should head inside to check it for you. I'm such a caring boyfriend, aren't I?” Wu Chen was teasing Yi Fei but who knew that Yi Fei will be overreacting.

”Argghh… What are you thinking? Why do you want to enter my room? You pervert… ”Yi Fei wanted to push Wu Chen but Wu Chen caught her hands and pulled her towards him.

”What pervert things are you thinking about?” Wu Chen smiled seductively at Yi Fei.

Yi Fei lowered her head. ”We shouldn't do things like that. We need to date properly and get to know each other deeply before we could even think of things like that” Her words became incoherent.

Wu Chen guffawed. His girl was so innocent; she needed to be protected at all times.

”You,” Wu Chen knocked her head softly. ”Don't think about pervert things too much. I'm going back now” Wu Chen let go of her hands.

Yi Fei felt slightly disappointed when Wu Chen let go of her hands. She walked Wu Chen to the door.

Outside the door, Wu Chen was looking straight at Yi Fei; he was reluctant to go. ”Fei Fei, are you going to let me go just like this?” Wu Chen was hinting for a goodbye kiss or a goodnight kiss.

Yi Fei touched her chin as if she was thinking hard then her face lightened up like she understood what Wu Chen wanted. She came closer to Wu Chen, looked at him in the eyes.

As if she was coaxing a sulking little boy, she patted his head. ”Be good. Drive safely okay?”

Wu Chen could only sigh helplessly.
