On Friday evening, Wu Chen went to Yi Fei's apartment complex to pick her up for their grocery shopping date. Yi Fei informed NaNa earlier about it so that she could tag along but NaNa was quite busy with her preparation for her upcoming ComicCon.

For this time, Yi Fei was wearing a baggy s.h.i.+rt and a yoga pant. There was a cute unicorn printed on her s.h.i.+rt.

Yi Fei went to the parking lot and entered Wu Chen's car naturally as she was used to doing that for ages. When they reached the supermarket, Wu Chen took the shopping cart naturally as he was used to it. They walked side by side like an old married couple.

When Yi Fei and Wu Chen arrived at the Poultry Section, the workers there seemed to remember them very well. They kept on looking at Yi Fei and Wu Chen. Yi Fei was looking at the whole chicken before choosing one that she wanted.

”Excuse me miss, aren't you the proposing couple last time?” A butcher, guy who looked like in his late forty, asked Yi Fei when Yi Fei asked him to prepare the chicken flesh.

”Yes, that's us” Yi Fei pa.s.sed over the whole chicken to the butcher.

”Hey, this is the proposing couple last time” Out of the blue, the butcher announced it to his fellow colleagues. All of the workers gave them a genuine smile.

An old lady who was walking around the area came to them.

Yi Fei remembered the old lady. Last time, the old lady was one of the people who kept on urging Wu Chen to say yes to the proposal. She could remember the old lady because she looked a bit like Kanta's grandmother from the anime 'My Neighbor Totoro'.

The old lady came and held Yi Fei's hand; she was giving them a kind smile. ”He finally said yes to you. I am so happy for you, young lady” While speaking to Yi Fei, her eyes moisten. Yi Fei did not stop her or evaded her touch.

”Yes ar… after I seduce him with everything I have, he finally surrendered to my charm. Hahaha” Yi Fei was in the mood of playing and bluffing. Since she had started everything, she felt that she needed to continue playing until the end.

Wu Chen was standing quietly beside Yi Fei. He did not say anything to support or to refute whatever Yi Fei said. He will let her play as long as she wants.

The old lady and Yi Fei talked like they knew each other for a long time. The old lady shared her experiences in seducing her husband while she was young like Yi Fei. On the other hand, from time to time, Yi Fei will add her comments like 'Chen Chen is also like that' and 'your husband acts similarly with Chen Chen'. The old lady even gave Yi Fei a lot of advice on how to 'grab' onto a man so he won't be able to run away from her.

The butcher interrupted their conversation to give the chicken he prepared to Yi Fei in a big plastic bag. Seeing that Yi Fei was buying way too much chicken for two persons, the old lady asked another question. ”Are you shopping for dinner?”

”Not really. We are shopping to celebrate…” Before she could finish her sentence, the old lady held her hand even tighter; her eyes on Yi Fei's stomach.

”I'm so happy for you, young couple. Having kids at your age is the best” The old lady patted Yi Fei's hand and gave her a genuine congratulatory smile.

For the first time, Wu Chen saw that Yi Fei had an astounded look on her face. Usually, Yi Fei had a smart mouth and will always have a comeback for everything he said. This time, Yi Fei was so stunned that she couldn't put anything into words. She was just standing there until the old lady walked away.

A loud crash could be heard behind them. Yi Fei and Wu Chen turned their heads to check what happened. A familiar lady dropped her shopping basket after she heard the old lady's words.
