Chapter 5 Part 1 – Don't judge a book by its cover

It hurts!

It hurts so much!

My head hurts!

The ringtone of a phone rang in the background.

Chen Minhao had completely no idea how he came back to his home.

He could only recall that last night, he, Kang Hui, Gao Dao and Zhou Mingrui were at the dinning table toasting each other and chugging beer down their stomach until he went stupefied and befuddled, unable to discern his directions.

“You are still asleep, aren't you?” Kang Hui's dissatisfied voice sounded from the other end of the call, “I've called your phone for a long time but you didn't answer.”

When he heard Kang Hui's voice, Chen Minhao pinched hard at his left arm that was holding the phone with his right hand to force himself to stay awake.

Afterwards, he said in a deep voice, “I'm awake. What's the matter Sis Kang?”

Kang Hui's valiant and das.h.i.+ng figure last night during the dinner surfaced in his mind while he answered her.

“You're a good drinker. You can drink up to eight bottles of beers before you start to feel a little tipsy. You can drink up to thirteen bottles before you collapse. From now on, if you go out to drink, remember that's your limit.”

On one hand, Chen Minhao felt warmth in his heart as he understood the intention behind Kang Hui's action of endlessly toasting them last night, but on the other hand, he felt a little awkward as he did not know how he was supposed to reply her.

“I'll be letting you know your schedule for next week now. Memorize it.”

Chen Minhao replied instinctively, “I can appear in a show so soon?”

Kang Hui smirked, “It looks like you are still in your dream.”
