Chapter 4 Part2 (1/2)
Chapter 4 Part 2 – Small target accomplished
At 9.30 am on Friday morning, Chen Minhao was squatting in front of Kang Hui's office on the 12th floor with a bun in his left hand and soybean milk in his right hand.
“Didn't I tell you to wait for me on the eighth floor?” Kang Hui asked. Looking at the young man carrying a blank look on his face, Kang Hui had a hunch, and immediately added: “Wait for me at the eighth floor.”
“Alright.” Before the sound of Kang Hui's voice faded away, Chen Minhao acknowledged her order, and immediately got up on his feet and started walking towards the elevator.
Kang Hui's lips curled into a graceful arc and asked, “Why didn't you ask me the reason why I'm asking you to go to the number three training room on the eighth floor?”
Chen Minhao turned back at Kang Hui, and replied in a deep voice, “If Sister Kang feels that I should be informed, then naturally you will let me know the reason. If you don't tell me the reason, then that meant that I don't have the need to know about it. Hence, I didn't ask.”
Kang Hui nodded her head with satisfaction. She likes obedient artists that obeys whatever they are told because she believed that the decision she makes for them are definitely the the most efficient and beneficial to them.
…
Chen Minhao pushed open the door of the number three training room with his body. Gao Dao and another trainee – Zhou Minrui, were already sitting on the floor inside the room when he entered.
Zhou Mingrui was 21 years old this year. He had a good voice for singing, and was slightly overweight. Perhaps because of his age being older than the other trainees, he had always been playing the role of an elder brother as he typically took care of them in their everyday life.
The interview for the selection of Divine Dream's three-member boy group just ended, and now, three trainees were summoned to a training room. The intention behind this was obvious, however, the three of them had a tacit understanding of not pointing the fact out.
When the two of them saw Chen Minhao entered the room, their faces lit up.
The reason for Gao Dao to be elated was because Chen Minhao's dancing couldn't hold a candle to his, and thus, his position as the lead dance in the group was secured.
As for Zhou Minrui, as Divine Dream's best trainee in singing, no matter who it was that came, there wouldn't be anyone capable of threatening his position as the main vocal of the group. The reason why he was elated, was because he and Chen Minhao were fellow buddies that always suffered in acting cla.s.s. Their acting skills were same as malignant tumors, and thus, they sort of understood each other feelings as they were in the same boat.
Chen Minhao was deeply awared that the trio group would just be a simple jumpboard platform for him, and that this jumpboard would be like a train to him, bringing him to the next destination in his life. However, in a train, there are standing tickets and sleeper tickets!
According to the original host's memory: The two of them have their own strengths, and their personalities are not those that get into trouble easily. For now, this train that he was taking could be consider as a luxury sleeper train.
Chen Minhao walked a few steps forward and greeted them. Then, he sat down and continued eating his bun.
Looking at the bun in Chen Minhao's hand, Gao Dao smiled: “As the young master of a bun bakery, don't you ever get sick of eating buns everyday?”
The corner of Chen Minhao's lips slightly twitched: “There are a large variety of flavors. I don't repeat the flavors when I eat them from Monday to Sunday.
Speaking of the bun bakery, he suddenly recalled the predecessor's father words in the video call – “Isn't it better to come back and learn how to make buns from me? It's possible to earn ten thousands a year at least.”
Gao Dao smirked: “Do you think your family's bun bakery will become internet famous when you become popular?”
