Chapter 246 246 Meet Charlette (1/2)

”Yes, meet your new sister Charlette. Kitty is sleeping right now so I thought I would introduce you guys to the baby while she naps. Charlette is napping so if you want to continue watching the movie you will need to lower the volume.” Leo looked down at his daughter who was sleeping soundly.

Tiana walked up to the cradle and tried to stand on her tiptoes to look into the cradle. ”I can not see sister. Big Brother can you pick up Tiana so she can see?” She holds her arms up for Luke to pick her up.

Luke bends down and lifts Tiana up so that she could see Charlette. ”Can you see our little sister now?”

Leo watched the interactions between the two and smiled, ”will you two continue to watch the movie?”

”Tiana saw little sister. Tiana would like to continue to watch the movie is possible.” She looked at the paused movie and then at Leo.

Luke put Tiana down and picked up the controller. He turned the volume down on the movie and hit play to test the volume and looked at the baby who didn't stir. ”Okay, let's continue with what we were doing and watch the movie while coloring.” He walked back to his sketchbook and flipped to a new page. Slowly he started sketching the baby.

Leo sat down on the couch and watched Charlette sleep soundly. As he watched, she twitched and moved in her sleep. 'I think she is a little too early to be dreaming but I think that she is adorable. I hope that Kitty wakes up soon.'

Ketan walked behind Leo and had followed him downstairs. He was standing in the doorway of the living room. He watched Leo's actions and smiled. 'It is in this moment that he seems human and no longer like the dignified hunter Leo.' He went back to the house that Sylvie, Emerson, and Carlos were at.

Cindy got cleaned up and went downstairs and checked in the living room. She was surprised to see Leo and a cradle in the living room and Anna was not around. ”Leo, I thought that you would want to stay with Kitty but you are here with Charlette.”

”Kitty is resting and I thought that it would be a good idea to stay with Charlette. Kitty said it would be good for me to be Charlette and I have to agree with Kitty. I do not want to miss anything but I do realize that she will sleep most of the time and that is why I am watching a movie with the rest of the gang here. Charlette gets the sleep she needs and I get to take in her cuteness.”

”You definitely are a doting father. Charlette is going to be one loved baby girl. Luke, how has Tiana been?” Cindy looked up at the two that were at the coffee table one coloring and the other sketching.
