Seeing the smile on Chu Lingyu's face, his mother laughed.

”Looks like you're very satisfied with your daughter-in-law. Since that's the case, then bring her down for dinner.” Mother Chu was very understanding.

”Yeah, the reason I brought her back was to let mom know.” Chu Lingyu had a smile on his face, his mother didn't object, this made him very happy.

Chu Mu's mother grabbed Chu Lingyu's hand and said earnestly, ”You, if I don't agree, what will you do if you don't return home in three to five years?”

Chu Lingyu was usually tough, and if he really did something excessive, he could do anything.

The moment Xu Chencan was mentioned, Chu Lingyu's expression could not help but soften as her smile slowly widened.

”She's a good girl.” Chu Lingyu gave her own judgment.

Chu Mu's mother did not object to this marriage. Although Xu Chencan was not a favorite, she was still a direct descendent of the Xu Family. This was a fact that no one could change.

”Go up and accompany that wife of yours. I'll sit by myself for a while.” Mrs Chu patted the back of Chu Lingyu's hand and smiled gently at him.

Chu Lingyu nodded her head and entered the room where Xu Chencan was. The others entered without knocking.

Seeing Xu ChenCan on the sofa playing with her cellphone without the slightest sense of danger, Chu Lingyu felt slightly dissatisfied and walked behind her.

”South of Su?” Chu Lingyu snatched the phone from behind her and stared at the name on it as he whispered.

”What are you doing?” ”Give me back my phone.” Xu Chencan turned around and knelt on the sofa, glaring at him.

Chu Lingyu looked at his phone and put it in his bag, looking at her expressionlessly.

”Give it to me.” Xu Chencan extended his hand without fear.

”Wife, you texted someone else at your grandma's house. Aren't you afraid that your grandma will think that you're a pimp?” Chu Lingyu smirked.

Hearing him call his wife, saying that his mother was his mother-in-law, Xu Chencan's face immediately turned red.

Chu Lingyu's mood immediately turned for the better. She directly went over to the sofa and hugged Xu Chencan, raising her chin and reminding her, ”Don't screw it up for me today, or I won't be helping you anymore.”

”Liar.” Xu Chencan pushed his hand away, turning his face to the side as he mumbled to himself.

He already knew that the Chu Clan did not have a gathering today. Chu Lingyu was just playing with him.

Chu Lingyu initially did not intend to hide it for long, but now that she found out, she stopped smiling.

”Then can't you guess why I called you here?” Chu Lingyu carefully probed.

”I don't want to guess.” Xu Chencan turned around, keeping his guard up to prevent himself from falling into his trap again.

Seeing that she was angry, Chu Lingyu shook her head in amusement, but still patiently explained: ”The Xu family wants to cooperate with the Chu family. If you don't see your mother-in-law, then the Xu family will have other people coming.”

”What did you say?” Without the need for him to say anything, Xu Chencan immediately turned around and looked at him in surprise.

She anxiously grabbed onto Chu Lingyu's arm, ”You and I are cooperating, we can't let the Xu and Chu Families cooperate.”
