18 Ch. 15 Best Friend & Another Demon Lord (2/2)

”SH*T. you betrayed me Seren uwu.” I was sad even more.

”Don't be sad Lylia-san. My opponent is just a Nanaryuu rank.” Reus-kun convinced me.

”For real?” I asked.

”Yes!” replied Reus-kun innocently.

”Hahaha, my group will be facing the Nanaryuu rank group party too.” Layla also convinced me.

”You two…uwu, my friends.” I hugged them.

”But that's not important Lylia. What's important is we move forward. The opponent on your battle is not the thing that you should focus on. It is your spirit that will decide either you keep moving forward or you give up.” Said Raph-chan.

”I think so too.” Said Reus-kun”

”I feel motivated by that Raphtalia-san.” Said Layla.

”Oh my oh my. I won't lose to anyone as long as I've not defeat my rival Lylia.”

”I'm all fired up!” I was motivated by Seren's word.

”Well, I hope all of us could make it to the final!”

”Yes!!!” all of us replied.

Then the lessons start in the morning as the teacher came in. I still remember my promise with Luc-chan. I'll make it to the semi-final. Only one more match, that I have to win. So, Luc-chan could come over and see my battle. Please wait a little more time Luc-chan. We're started our class as usual. But, today was a little cloudy isn't it? Well, that won't disturb me to study in the class. In the middle of our class, Raph-shan suddenly whispered to me.

”Lia, I need to go to the toilet now. Could you look for my books I left on my table?”

”Yup. Sure why not?”

”Okay, great.”

Then Raph-chan went to the toilet that was located on the other side of the building. That's what the problem we had to bear with. The toilet was far from our class. Heih. If I was the principal of this academy, I will build a toilet in every class. So, students will no longer have to get out of the class to look for a toilet. After fifteen minutes later, suddenly a massive explosion happened and boom!!! The other side of the building smashed massively.

Everyone was stunned and scream out of fear. I was afraid too. Even the whole academy felt the wave and the shaken building by the great explosion. What is happening? Everyone in the block G didn't know what is it. The teacher told us to move outside. I just followed the instruction. Layla and the others were running to the outside too. I was curious about the explosion. What was that actually for? Seren came closer to me.

”Are you alright?”Seren asked me.

”yes!”

”Alright. I also didn't know what was happening just now. But look… there's a ton of black smoke that surrounded the explosion.” Seren pointed to the area which exploded earlier.

The building was completely damaged and cracked. All of the students of block G come out and run to the main hall where it was located far from Block G. suddenly someone appears from the smoke.

”Nice to meet you again citizens ssssssss!!!” the snakeman greeted.

Everyone shouted out as they screamed out of nowhere. The teachers were also surprised that it was a group of villains. They've return back!!! I could feel the great murderer intense again as I saw them from afar. I was stunned and my eyes widely opened while everyone is busy running to save their lives. The villains that Raph-chan told me…they really return back here.

”We come with peace citizens ssss. No screaming. We're not here to look for the Grand Fairy any longer. ssssss”said the snakeman or I mean Oba.

I was really trembling in fear but at the same time I feel I can't move. What is this feeling? This…is… almost like the previous incidents. The Ten Kamiryuu gathered to where the villains were. They've equipped with full armored and weapons. Even the teachers also gathered there and cautiously observe the villains actions. Seren shouted to me.

”Lylia!!! What're you doing there!!! Come on hurry up. Let the Ten Kamiryuu deal with them. You don't want to get killed right?” Seren shouted to me.

I was stunned and can't help my situation now. I was trembling in fear. Then I remember Raph-chan who was going to the toilet earlier. Don't tell me that she…!!! Oh my gosh. I ignored Seren I ran towards where Raph-chan was. I shed tears without noticing it. What is this? I'm frightened out of all time. Damn it. I could just think of Raph-chan now. I ran as quickly as possible.

When the sights are getting clear, it is real that the villain group has already here. Oba, Grenade, Apolyon , the two huge orc tankers and …their leader Namtar was here.The Ten Kamiryuu was ready to defend this academy as they bravely facing them.

”Hmm, as I said students and teachersssss…. We're not here to look for the Grand Fairy.”

”So what was your intention returns here back?” One of the teachers replied to him.

”Oya. Did you replied me? Hahahaha.”suddenly the teacher that replied Oba, turned into a stone mercilessly.

The students who saw that happened to scream loudly as they are too afraid.

”I can't hear anything if you're too loud.” Said Apolyon.

Then he charges directly to the students randomly. He slices them all mercilessly. It was a horrible scene. A lot of blood is spreading the wall and to the ground as Apolyon slashes the random students in a blink of an eye. Damn it.

The Ten Kamiryuu moves first as they saw Apolyon action. President Mila, Krein-senpai and Zet-senpai attack ragingly towards Grenade and Oba. Nomiya-senpai, Rhu-senpai and Valen-senpai attack the tankers. Juro, Cici, Eralin, and Rin protect the students who were on their way to the main hall.

”Krein!!! Zet!!! Watch my back.” Shouted the serious president Mila.

”Yes!” Replied Krein and Zet to president Mila.

Finally, the battle between the villains who had just invaded into our academy and the Ten Kamiryuu has begun. Namtar laughed hard as she saw the Ten Kamiryuu and the teachers are fighting with them.

”Oh my, that's a rude to welcome the visitors, by showing your gratitude first. We come here to look for the demon. So, we don't have any intention to fight with you all.” Said Apolyon who is in the middle struggling with president Mila, Krein and Zet.

The tankers were really troublesome. Nomiya-senpai, Rhu-senpai and Valen-senpai is having a hard time to deal with them since they're resistant to magic and physically. It seems like the tankers were immortal.

Apolyon was handling Juro, Cici, and Rin. The three of them have been hurt several times. They've already wounded a little.

”Not bad.” Said Apolyon to them.

Not long after that one of the teachers had quickly report to the Capital Army. The Capital Army sent five professional heroes to deal with them. They've arrived while the Ten Kamiryu still in the middle fighting with the villains.

” Stopped right there villains!!!” said one of the professional heroes.

”We are Reingard's pro heroes come to arrest you.”said the other one of the professional heroes.

They were Ultra rank professional heroes. Isabelle Buster, Luke Gilthunder, Hazel Skyler, Julian Hakai, Leo Amillion. They seem to notice that it was the villains that escaped from the underground prison. Then the Ten Kamiryuu retreat as they noticed the presence of the professional hero.

”Big brother!!!” shouted president Mila while looking at professional heroes.

”Are you alright Mila-chan?” asked Leo to her little sister president Mila.

”I'm fine but, these villains were powerful.” Said president Mila.

The pro heroes are charging towards the villains. Grenade quickly deactivated everyone's magic at that time. The pro heroes realize that yet, they still charging towards them. They could merely withstand them even though they can't use magical power.

”Hoho… this is better than them.” Said Apolyon.

Hazel Skyler was an assassin too. That's why she marked Oba as her opponent. Both of them seem to equal in speed and strength. Hazel has a blue color and a waterfall hairstyle. She was wearing a high-class hoodie and boots. Her gloves also made from platinum. Oba seems to be attracted by Hazel's skill and abilities in combat, even though their magic was deactivated by Grenade. She is a succubus race respectively. Well, they're now having an epic battle. They were too fast. Only the sound of their slashing armor to each other could be heard by the Ten Kamiryuu and the teachers.

The teachers then bring the Ten Kamiryuu to protect all the students who were still on their way to the main hall. That was a brilliant idea. They should avoid unnecessary death for the time being while letting the pro heroes dealing with them. Sadly, there are a lot of the students, who died in the explosion and being killed. That is why, it will influence the other student, until they were traumatized by the horribleness scene they saw.

Grenade is now more evil. She randomly attacked the students she saw near to her. But now, she is busy fighting with Luke Gilthunder and Isabelle Buster. Both of them were fighter paladin so, they're suited against Grenade. Grenade loves a close battle such as martial arts. Grenade didn't afraid of the pro heroes like Luke or Isabelle. She even invites them to use their weapon. Moreover, grenade had deactivated their magic. So, that makes Grenade has the advantages against them.

Luke is a knight that wore a full armored. He holds high his immense silver blade and a shield. Luke is a human for your information. Isabelle is a fighter that wore half body-armored. She had a curly browny hair. Isabelle is a nunchaku user. She is skilled when it comes to her weapon alone. She is also an elf mage. Now, they're barely fighting with the hilarious Grenade. They also are now having an epic battle as Grenade could withstand two pro heroes. She is totally out of sense. She merely could beat them easily with her various and unpredictable fighting style.

On the other side, Julian Hakai the tank killer was dealing with the villain's tankers. He alone could withstand the tankers.

However, it is still hard for him to take down the tankers without magic. Julian Hakai was a semi type. He is a fighter tank plus he is an eagle beast(half human half eagle). He wore half body-armored too. But he brought a lot of ax behind him. As expected from an Ultra rank. He moves hastily than the tankers but it was futile against them.

The tankers seem to resistance both physical attack and magic. The best way for Julian to against them is, to keep whacking them and avert any strike. More important is, Julian prevents the tankers busy as much as possible. So, they could not protect their teammates.

Last but not the least, Leo Amilion. He is the highest level in Ultra Rank. He marked Namtar as his opponent. Leo had a read sunset color hair. His skin is the same as president Mila. But, he is huge and muscles. Leo was a Paladin type for sure. He brought his insane blade which has the edge of chainsaw. His blade was unique and enormous. However, that bastard leader of villains …Namtar divides herself into four different bodies. Now, Leo is eventually struggling with the four-person of Namtar's element.

Namtar had fire elements, water elements, earth element and wind elements. Don't mistake for Namtar's power. He's the one that they should be cautious more. Namtar is not an ordinary person. Those actions and her psycho face… was a deadly battle for Leo.

Apolyon is busy killing random students everyplace he walked into. He seems like, assassinating for nothing as he had no idea what is the motive for him to be here. The teachers are handling him. Don't underestimate the teachers who educate in the academy. They might be ordinary teacher but they are not far from an extraordinary teacher. Some of them guide the students to the main hall while the other teachers defending the students in a building.

I have finally arrived at the explosion spot. Yes, I am really scared right after I get there. There was a lot of blood spread to the wall and the ground. My eyes shed tears without realizing it. I saw bloodshed everywhere and many students died from the horrific blast earlier. There are several incomplete body corps lay down on the floor. It was a horrible scene. The scene is terrifying than my nightmare. And more horror is… I saw Raph-chan's imperfect body. This isn't real. It must be a dream!

Raph…Raph-chan was split apart? Don't tell me that it was her! Seren who is following me from behind also realized it and she was startled greatly. She can't bear seeing what was in front of us now. I walked slowly to where Raph-chan is. And I fall down to the cracked ground. I can't believe that I was grieving for my best friend who had died in front of me.

That keychain in her hand, was the proof that she is Raph-chan. No doubt about that...it was really Raph-chan. I shed tears even more. The other parts of her body slide out of nowhere. I don't know how to react to this situation.

Seren gets closer to me and she also cried out. She recognizes that it was Raph-chan. I…i..don't believe this could happen out of sudden. Raph-chan was just going out to the toilet isn't she? Why!? Why did she was the one get killed too!? My chest felt like something was burning. What is this feeling?! I can't describe it. The tears that fall from my eyes… I can't feel it anymore. Raph-chan died?

Seren try to persuade me even though she was sad too. But I didn't hear what she is saying. I'm in a state of emotion that I can't express. It feels like a dead body staring at a dead body. That's why I feel something bad going to happen today? Out of all the time…why is it today?...out of all people…why is it Raph-chan?...out of all situation…why is it dead in the end? I was in my own world. I can't do anything but stunned and mourn the death of my best friend. Seren was too sad until she also sits down the ground.

It is still in the cloudy morning. The academy was attacked by the criminals. Now, the pro heroes are handling them but, they also have a hard time dealing with the villains since their magic was deactivated by Grenade.

Leo ragingly swings his blade and barely fighting four of Namtar. They left a great wave every time Leo landed a strike to Namtar but Namtar managed to avoid that strike. Unfortunately for Leo, Namtar could create thunder just by mixing her element then she strikes Leo mercilessly. Leo avoid as quickly as possible but he also injured his leg. That was an unfair battle between Namtar and Leo. But Leo seems didn't care about the unfair match between them. Because he wanted to protect his comrades and the students. So, he made Namtar busy playing with him.

”Yo Hero.” Said one of the Namtar's element to Leo.

”Huh?” responded Leo.

”You better get out of here because we have nothing to do with heroes. We're only here for the demon.” Said the fearsome Namtar.

”Huh? demon? But you involved the student. We can't let you take more action after this. Moreover, you're the criminals that being wanted right?” said Leo who is still in the middle battling with four Namtar.

”Hohoho, I didn't expect that we're that famous already. Just escaping from the underground jail was easy peasy. Nothing out of ordinary.

”Damn it you trash talker villain.”

Leo is on the verge of defeat. He cannot use anything but his physical strength. Even more horrible, Leo has been injured all over his body. But Leo stood firmly and avoided the attack by Namtar. Leo is not an easy person as you see him. Even though his body was huge, but he could drive faster than an ordinary human could. He swiveled his sword and throws away a great strike.

” [ STARDUST ROLL BLADE SAW ]

”

It was an attack by Leo spinning his sword in all directions. That was a destructive strike. He attacked Namtar from all direction and the wave of the wind could be felt even though, it was only physical force. Namtar was triggered by Leo's action, then Namtar charge towards Leo but, all of the four Namtar was sent fly to the building. They were blown away to the buildings due to Leo's violent attack. Even the buildings are receiving some destruction.

But that is not the end for Namtar. Namtar gets up again and she really anger at Leo. She is now creating from the earth element. A bustling sound sounded. Something appears from the ground. It was two huge golems that appeared on the ground. Then the fire element Namtar raised her hand to the golems. A huge red magic circles appear upon the golems. The golem's appearance changes from earth golem to magma golem. It was so hot. The temperature also changes out of sudden. The water element Namtar attack and disperse a lot of water to Leo while the wind element Namtar create a white magic circle. It blasts an extraordinary typhoon, which makes the water that spread to Leo turn into ice in a blink of an eye.

Leo is now having big trouble. He was forced to fight the golems so, he'll not getting freeze by the water and wind element Namtar. At the same time, the golems are too hot for him to fight. He could die first without touching the magma golems. He can't do anything but retreat.

Namtar laughed as she saw a hero can't do anything but run. It was real that, Namtar really is the strongest amongst her comrades.

On the other side, Julian seems to have difficulty dealing with their tankers. The tankers were like an immortal. Julian attacks could barely scratch their armor. Yet, it is not even harming them. The tankers are quite slow but, don't misjudge the tankers. They played the main role in the villain's group.

President Mila was a persistent one. She saw Julian was having a hard time dealing with the tankers, she directly charging towards one of the tankers. She was just trying to help Julian.

”What are you doing here little sister of Leo!?” said the shocked Julian when he noticed that Mila also barely attacked the tanker.

”I can't help by seeing you, against these troublesome tankers alone! Isn't that the job of a hero?” Mila said while she is avoiding the attack from the tanker she fights.

”You should make sure the other student's safety first and called for backup.”Said Julian to Mila.

”Nope. We can't do that. They've deactivated our magic. It is futile to call for backup. We can't make it in time even if we called for backup. Furthermore, I told the teacher to stay away from here and I let the other nine members of Ten Kamiryuu protecting them. They should be safe for now.”said Mila.

”Tch you're really a stubborn one like your big brother Leo!” said Julian.

”I'm a hero after all. Protecting the innocent people is a hero job!”

Mila and Julian attacked the tankers together and moved around to confuse the enemy.

” [ MAXIMUM STRIKE X ] ” It was Mila's special move.

Even though she realized that she couldn't use magic yet, she still had a lot of special moves that require a physical counter. She jumped to the air and she grabbed tightly to her punch as a green glowing glimmer came out from her punch. Then she released it as she smashes one of the tanker's bodies. Booommm. A great wave could be felt by everyone. The attack that was blow by Mila seems didn't affect a single damage on the tanker. They were shocked by that. The tanker receives that deadly punch by Mila yet, they didn't move or hurt. Julian and Mila retreat immediately after they notice how hard were the tankers.

”Damn it. How strong are they?”Mila is mumbling.

”Be careful. They're not just an ordinary tank. Moreover, I think it was their true passive ability.”

”They are immune to any physical attack and magic. Tch, they should have some weakness.”

”If only we could use magic. We could use a magic trap to trap them inside it. We don't need to fight them. It is futile. Our main job is to disconnect the tankers from their comrades. That's all.”said Julian who is grasping the air.

”So, that's mean we should counter the person who deactivated our magic? But who is it?”

”Yup. It was the witch who is now fighting with Luke and Isabelle.”

”Ahh! So she is the one who deactivated our magic. She is a troublesome for us. We should counter right now. She's fighting alone with Luke and Isabelle so, if we helped them we might be able to beat that witch and gain our magic.” Said Mila.

”Easy to say it like that, but it is hard to take action.”

”Are there no other ways?”

”I had one.”Julian stated he got a plan.

”What is it? Mila asked.

”I'll keep these two tankers busy, while you quickly helped Luke and Isabelle there. Make sure you beat up that witch. I hope this would work.”

”Alright understand.”Mila replied.

Mila and Julian do as exactly they had planned. Julian took out double broadswords from his back and charging towards the tankers. While Mila run directly to where Grenade was. Grenade was still in the middle of battling with Isabelle and Luke. But she was being intruded by Mila. Now there are three persons against Grenade.

”Oh sh*t you little monkey. You really know how to add the best part don't you? Hahahaha. Well, it's alright as long as you wanted to fight me, I'll fight you as much as you have.”

Luke and Isabelle were shocked by Mila's action but, they didn't complain about it. They continued to fight with Grenade. Even though Isabelle is using her nunchaku, Grenade seems not to be bothered by it. Plus Grenade could withstand the three of them at the same time. Once Grenade satisfied with their battle, she hurriedly activates an explosion magic.

” [ NOVA BOMB ] ”

Grenade launched her explosion magic when the three of them were closed to each other as Grenade was under them. Grenade launched it without giving any mercy. Then the three of them were sent fly away. Mila, Luke and Isabelle suffered the damage.

”Damn it. It didn't work either.” Said Julian when he noticed that explosion.

A great wave generated from Grenade's explosion is making the ground shaken. Luke get up and help Isabelle stand then he went to help Mila stand too.

”Are you alright?”asked Luke to Mila.

”Yes I'm alright. Just a little scratch.” answered Mila.

”Okay good. Stay back miss, we don't want you to get hurt again. She's a dangerous one. We can't fight her directly because she's skilled in martial arts.”

This time we'll see the battle between assassins. Hazel is now in the middle of fighting with Oba. She never speaks from the start. Hazel knows Oba's passive ability so, that's why she hasn't opened her mouth yet, she showed it by repels and attack the speed of Oba. Both of them are really fast as flash. Even though Oba speaks to her several times but, it doesn't bother Hazel. Oba is a tricky snake beast. He could uses [ HARDENED SKIN ] as it toughened his own scales into something overwhelming than steel. So, he didn't get frightened even though Hazel had used her sharped weapon to hurt Oba. It is futile because Oba was steeled.

Suddenly Hazel took out a magic paper. She was brilliant. Even though she can't use any magic for the moment but, she brought the magic paper with her. It was a paper than contained various types of magic. But, Hazel only brought an explosion magic paper. She charges directly to Oba and moves like a Chinese martial art as she sticks the paper on Oba's body. Then, Hazel retreats as she backflips in the air. She does several hand signs, then she puts her hand on the ground.

A huge yellow magic circle appears below Oba. Oba was shocked at that time. He was stuck.

”What the hell? A magic set up?!!!”

Hazel didn't reply to him as she cautious of Oba passive ability which, turning one into stone if they replied Oba's question. The paper that was stick on Oba's body was also gleaming. Hazel then makes her last hand sign steps. It was clapping her hand. Right after Hazel clapped her hand, a heavy explosion explode from Oba's body. All the other villains including the heroes stunned and stopped from their match. They feel the great wave and bright light from Oba's. Booom!!! Namtar, Grenade, even the tankers was stunned by that.

Hazel was so tired as she grasp the air, and she finally speaks.

”That was… [ HAPPY BUDDHA GOD HAND ] …” Hazel said it as she is the only one who has beat up one of the villains.

Oba was split into a thousand pieces. His body was exploded by the great power of Hazel. No one expected that from the assassin Hazel. But now, Hazel seems to drain out of energy and she falls to the ground. She breathe hardly yet she still in conscious.

Everyone that looked at Hazel, surprised and shocked. That was really a powerful explosion. Grenade was triggered by the explosion made by Hazel. She then charge towards Hazel as she left her opponents behind. Everyone could not make it in time to save Hazel. That crazy witch Grenade had moved faster than anyone and she was about to launch a massive explosion to Hazel. Grenade points her hand to Hazel is. A big azure color magic circle materializes below and above Hazel.

” [ INSTANT RAY ] !!!” Grenade shouted her mega spell.

The magic circles above and under Hazel begins to glow out. Not long after that, a decisive enormous explosion blast Hazel completely. Boom!!! It was powerful than Hazel's Happy Buddha God Hand. Unfortunately for Hazel, she died horribly within the explosion.

Everyone who sees that in front of their eyes was trembling in fear as all of them feel sympathy and scared a little. Grenade has assassinated a pro hero(Hazel) who killed Oba. What a dreadful action by them.

”Huh, not bad little hero. You're using some kind of tricks there.” Grenade said it as she was mentioning about Hazel's magic paper.

Suddenly someone new appeared again, with a devil voice. All of the heroes and the villains pause for a moment.

”What is it so loud here? Isn't I just ordered you to take me to meet the demon?!!!”

A new demon has appeared in front of them. He had an untied black messy hair and looked cool. He had two hefty devil horns on his head. He also had white skin and black eyes. His body was so muscles and huge than anyone who's in the battle. All of them were shocked and stunned by his presence. It was full of murdered and forbidden aura sense could be felt by the academy. The atmosphere changes out of sudden like it became a hell itself. A real demon came out in front of them. That's really terrifying. Pro heroes can't do anything with the demon presence. They thought it was just the villain, unfortunately, it is not just the villains.

”My apologies Maou-sama. I was just clearing the obstacles that get in our way.” Grenade bowed deeply to the demon that appeared from behind them.

”Obstacles? This is just a bunch of weak hero who pretends to be strong…HOii!!! I WANT THAT DEMON NOW!!! WHO GET IN OUR WAY…I'LL SEND YOU TO THE HELL MYSELF!”The great demon speaks louder as he was angry.

One of the four Namtar suddenly interrupts and introduces the demon to them. All of the heroes retreat as they noticed it. Luckily, all the building has been empty. It was just a bunch of dead corps on some area in which the villains killed the students randomly including the first great explosion in the academy. The scenes become atrocious, where the Block G buildings are the place where they're battling now. Bloodshed everywhere and it was really unforgivable.

”Sorry for the disrespectful circumstance, my Lord. Heroes!!!…I'm sorry for the late introduction. This is Demon Lord from the neighbor kingdom…. His name is Lord DEMIURGE ELIGOS!!!” said the evil Namtar.

Fearful and frightened are the only impressions that could be described in the situation right now.
