8 Ch. 7.1 Backup Plan (1/2)

Luc-chan jumps and ran on the tree. He's like ninja? Assassin? . He can offset his body on a tree and keep running. All of us stunned by his action. This is the beginning of our tough training.

”Girls, don't just stand there or you all never get dinner tonight. Keep running and followed me from behind.!!”

Luc-chan is already far from the 4 of us about 10 meters. Layla and Raph-chan seems useless to this kind of training. Their capabilities are not qualified to this physical training as they're often using magic. They felt disappointed yet they keep running. And follow Luc-chan from behind. While on the other hand, Seren still maintaining her energy by running a little slowly a step behind me. I am still running and breathe hard as we have run for like 45 minutes.

It's deep forest path that we have to cross together. There are different trees and shrubs. Brutal challenge for us huh. On top of that, we had to run across a swift river and muddy mud. When we reach the obstacles places where there's mud on the ground and risky spots, Layla who's not giving up type person run and jump directly towards the body of a tree beside her. She actually wanted to copy the movement that Luc-chan showed us earlier. Her feet manage to step on the tree but however, Layla's feet are not strong enough to jump towards as she's really weak on physical. She fell on the ground and her body hit the mud, but then she gets up and continues to running forward.

She was so determined even she fell down. Her eyes showed her determination to this training, she knows that she's weak and not giving up. She really is someone who has the strongest heart of all people I ever meet. She still gives us courage who's still behind her.

” Keep running guys, Maou-san told us we just need to follow where he goes. Don't give up” Layla said this as she wiped the mud all over her face and still running forwards.

”Understand!.” Seren and Raph-chan understand her words.

The three of us continue our run and all of us fall to the ground. We run along a rocky road and we were tired but still struggling to keep running. Luc-chan still hasn't got a little dirty on running. Luc-chan movements are too hard to be followed. He is just like a monkey or some human who lives a long time in a jungle. His reaction and body movements seem already get used to the surrounding's obstacle. He stepped on the safe zone ground and avoiding some obstacles along his way. He still breathes normally. What a monster. We who still left behind are all wounded and dirty.

We fall down countlessly, we got some scratches while crossing the thorny area in the jungle. There are miscellaneous scary animals around here. We've passed through a giant Griffin nest safely which is the carnivore animal. It was a four-legged bird that looks like a lion. It also has large wings and is sleeping on its eggs. Next, leaping on the lucky mega leaves and so on. We are also almost lost in the jungle. There's too much of dangerous places here, yet we still survive. If it wasn't by Luc-chan's rule, Layla should've healed us by now. But look at us, all of us are so tired, and we almost lost sight of Luc-chan. Luc-chan's training is ten times tougher than the academy's combat lessons.

Still, by seeing my friends really taking this seriously about the training and not even complaining about anything, they have already give me little courage to keep up with them. I'll remember this forever. In the evening Luc-chan told us to stop here for today. And we got home. At first all my friends including me already giving up to go home. But Luc-chan laughed and tell us.

”If you look there clearly, you'll see the house just in front of us.”

”Ehh?” everyone got surprised that Luc-chan tell us that.

We thought we need to go home by the way we've been through all day. But actually Luc-chan has brought us running from outside the house and back to the house using another way. Even I was surprised. After lived here for 15 years I didn't realize that we have another way to go back home.

”Yes, I just brought you Run around this forest.  I think Lylia didn't know about this either.”

”What the hell. This is new to me.”

”Well, let's go home already. You all seem starved and tired all day. I'll cook some delicious food to keep your stomach full today as you all did your great job. Good job girls.”

Ahhh, he's now sounds like a father to us. He leads us way back home. All of us rushed to the shower room as we are all dirty. Thanks to Layla, she healed us while we're on our way back home. Then, Luc-chan call us for dinner already. He is really fast at preparing the food. The dinner are also looked tastier than yesterday. Well, least we all have some left energy to eat. We then talk all night long with each other and get some sleep that night.

While on the other view, Gil is busy training his daily swords skill together with his brother. Gil loves to train with anyone as long as he holds the sword. He is unbeatable when it comes to swords battle. He has trained more than anyone. His magic is not bad at all, he has some powerful strike even without using mana. He trains all day just to achieve his favorite president expectation. He wants to become in the same league as president Mila. That's why he trains harder every day. His words become his motivation to keep become stronger. ”Just look at me, Mila-san. With my strongest…. I'll beat your strongest.” He continued his training without stop by swinging the swords. Such a strong paladin.

Reus-kun was also training harder. He joined a party that required some mage. By his incredible magic creation, he was approved by the party and Reus-kun train with them in this holiday. He keeps an eye on the opponent and protect his comrades. He sure improve more than before. He creates more and variable magic. He became more confident and didn't scare of what faced him. Reus-kun also wanted to raise up his rank. By doing this, I believe he can do it.

President Mila also is training. She's now together with the other Kamiryuu rank. They all look forward to president Mila. Top 10 Kamiryuu really is great. This year is their last year becoming the students of H.A.C . Right after they graduate soon, I believe they'll work under the Reingard Hero Capital. Their strength is unbelievable and easily to be hired there as they are good not just academy but their capabilities are higher qualities or I can say that first class combat Hero.

And everyone is doing their best..

Then the next day.  While we were still sleepy in the early morning, Luc-chan the pervert again with his unacceptable action is effective to wake us up.

”Girls, wake up already. You all got your training session today. Go wash your body and wear your sports uniform. I had already take off your pajamas. Now  go…”

”KYAAA!!!! Perverttt!!! Demon !! how did you get in here??”

”ehh ?? why we are naked?” Raph-chan asked innocently

”You bastard demon, come here you sh*t!!!” I was really embarrassing.

”Oh my oh my, you've seen it maou-sama don't you… uwuuu, you must responsibly take care of me from now on maou-sama.” That maniac queen purposely doing that. But Luc-chan never falls for her anyway.

”Ehh.. all of you're more pervert buuuuu. Anyways, take a shower quickly and change to your sports uniform. I've dry it and put it in your closet. I'll prepared the breakfast in just a minute. So , better you don't miss the breakfast or else you might not be able to continue the training. Got it?”

”We got it you pervert. Get out now!!how we suppose to walk while you're standing there stares at us.!!”

Then Luc-chan laughed and closed the door. We stare at each other with embarrassing expression then laugh in the early morning.  We never heard Luc-chan laughing expression ever. I also feel funny about him. He never really like to laugh at this little things. Usually he will just ignore us with his gloomy face but now he feels like a big brother to us. Forget about that, we go to the shower room and change our outfit quickly. Luc-chan already cooked and prepared some breakfast on the table for us. Without wasting our time, we sit together and eat while Luc-chan prepared something in the kitchen.

After that, we all continue our training again. Luc-chan has finished his stretching and start counting to run. The training starting now. Today , we must run and keep running. We have 3 weeks of running sessions with Luc-chan. Furthermore, me and my friends think that this training is to strengthen our physical body and not depend on much of the magic. Recall to the scene where Luc-chan fought the villain, he really is using only his physical strength. I wonder how did he end up train until his body is the same prime as the magic user. He must have more than that. Because I remembered that Luc-chan hasn't used up all his strength yet in the fight with the villain. He's a powerful demon. Even now, he looks like never run out of energy, he still can maintain his speed. Moreover, he's now jumped over the tree and make some fighting pose.

We somewhat try to copy him but we failed. Indeed, we've fallen down a thousand times more today but it's fun. As long as there are your friends, supporting each other, laughing, sad, disappoint and so on, but they're still there when you're in need. Again, we've survived for the second day.

”Well you all look exhausted. Let's go home and eat now. Good job everyone.”

Until the next day and the next, we've trained so hard. After 1 week of running, now we're getting used to the jungle obstacle and the way. All of us are getting better in catching up with Luc-chan speed, but we still far away from Luc-chan. Plus, we did sometimes fall when enduring all the traps and monsters in the jungle. Luckily, we didn't get eaten by the griffin. Hopefully never get eaten. As we are running in the jungle along with the hot weather more or less it's summer anyway. Raph , Lylia and me were at the same speed. Well, of course we could talk about things while on our training. Suddenly, Layla wondering and asking out of nowhere while we're having a good conversation.

”Hey guys, I'm sorry for asking this but I had this weird feeling when running behind maou-san. I'm not saying bad things to him but, sometimes I got a feeling that maou-san seems deep lonely whenever I saw his back. I don't know about you guys but this is what I felt.”

”I think so too sometimes. Maou-san seems a lonely person. I can tell by looking at his expression from the first time I met him. Feels like he showed a happy face with a darkness heart and sometimes I think it's just my imagination.”

”Is that so. I didn't realize about that. But I am rarely seeing Lu-chan happy and laugh at the little things. Is he really that pathetic?”

The gloomy face Luc-chan sneeze just now and continue running. The maniac queen Seren who was a step in front of us heard we're talking about Luc-chan then she interrupts the conversation.

”Eeeehh, are you talking about maou-san? Looks like three of you are my new rival to get maou's love isn't it?”

”Like hell we'll fall in love with him!” I said

”What about Seren-san ?”

”About what?” asked the confused Seren.

”What do you feel about Maou-sama?”

”Hmm, maou-san right? Well in my opinion, he looks handsome, strong, and brilliant. HAHAHHAHHA.”

”Be serious about this, you know what we means by it.”

”Alright, alright. Sometimes I feel like he's somehow a strong demon. Well, as we can feel his terror on the other day. But somehow he looks good guy, and dependable person.”

”Yes, you're right Lady Seren. I just remembered the ruined event that we're trapped by the villain. When maou-san entered the school, he actually gets more attention from the people and of course our senior who is an Eiryuu rank. His power was revealed by his appearance. They'll know just by feels it.” Raph-chan expressed her feeling.

”I think so too. Looking at the Maou-san now, I feel sorrowful emotion within him. He seems to take a lot of suffered memories and people's burdens. Moreover, he's a demon. Reingard is a kingdom that anti demon, so it's rare to see demon races here. Or maybe they've gone from this kingdom except for Maou-san.” Seren stated her opinion about Luc-chan.

”Well, you're so lucky to have him as your guardian Lylia. Plus, he's such a handsome guy, have you sleep with him once?” That Raph-chan bullied me.

”Hey!! How dare you Raph-chan!!”

”ahahaha”  they all laugh at me.

”Oii, don't play around focus on your training or else  you all will be punish to wash your own cloth tonight.!”

”Understand maou-san!!” all of us replied together and continue running.

This time, we feel like our feet are getting muscles as we running and depends on the feets strength. Now we could endure the obstacle a little better than our first time training. Layla and Raph-chan are getting better in jumping and running on the branchers, the same goes to me and Seren. But sometimes we get clumsy and fall down too. When we could catch up Luc-chan's speed, he begins to show some different moves while running on the branchers.

”Listen girls, the enemy is not always easier to be predicted. So , by doing some useful like this, you're not just confused your opponent but also you maintaining your body on the unstable or moving ground. As long as you are quick to get use of the surrounding, I'm so sure all of you are now can move faster as lightning on the flat land.”

”Understand maou-sama!!”

Now Luc-chan is not just jumping randomly on the tree, he moves like he is fighting an opponent on the tree. He's actually make a mark on the places that he touched and hit.

”So, you see the marks on several places I mark with an ”x” just now. I need you to hit those mark with you hand or feet every time we pass this way.”

”Yes sir!!” We replied Luc-chan as we understand the instruction.

”Good.”

Luc-chan marks an 'X' along the way on several places. We hit it when we see it. We are free to use any martial arts. While Layla and Raph-chan just copy the move that Seren and I do while hitting those marks. They're quite fast learners at copying one's movements now. Thanks to Luc-chan lessons. They have no more doubt in him. They believe he'll make us stronger than the first time they got here. As usual, we stopped the training in the evening and go home. Luc-chan prepared us some dinner and then we eat together.

Today's training getting mo harder, so we must keep stronger.  Until all of us take a rest for the night. Luc-chan open my room and want to make sure we have sleep. Apparently all of us already slept after the dinner. The lights are off and the room is in the dark. We were already asleep because we were tired. He then smiled and close the door. It looks as his smile is telling us ”You've done your best today, get some rest now and let tomorrow shine your day more than yesterday.”

We've spent the second week of running, and we got one more week to run. There's still 2 months left to train after that. We all wonder when will we learn new moves and skills. Because all we did seems to strengthen our body's muscle. Yet we are still running on the third week. We jump even faster now, target even stronger, and we get used to all the marks around us. Well it is not that hard if you train like us daily hehehee. No matter how much we improved, Luc-chan always better than us. He still in front of us when it comes to running. What did he ate actually? He never gets tired. He keeps running and keeps speeding than us.

Well that our Luc-chan. Anyways, back to our training, all of us are now move exactly like a ninja, even the griffin can't catch us now hahaha. We know the right and dangerous spots to be stepped on. This week, the only target for us is to matchup Luc-chan speed. Thanks to Luc-chan, we're now can hold the tougher endurance for a whole day. We're not like before anymore, even Raph-chan and Layla's looks like an assassin. So, in this last 7 days, one of us must catch Luc-chan speed.

”Girls, from this day until the last day of this week we'll be competing with each other.”

”what!!!?” all of us were surprised by that.

”We'll be having a race in these 7 days. 1 versus 4.”

”What do you mean by that ?” Raph-chan asked.

”It means 4 of you will have a race with me. In this race,4 of you be considered as a winner….if one of you was able to get to this house before I arrived.”

”Oh my oh my, that seems like we have the advantages.”said  the confident Seren.

”Doesn't it is unfair that four of us will compete with Maou-sama?” said Layla.

”Well. We'll see it later girls.” Said the proud Luc-chan.

”Alright my darling maou-san.”said maniac queen.

”Before I forgot, all of you can use magic while on the rest while I'll only use my physical. It'll be unfair if I use any magic. So, it's better if only the 4 of you use magic.” He said as he shows the usual bored face.

”Ehhhh??? For real?? Whoa , feels like I'm not using my magic after all this training.” said Layla.

Luc-chan smiled and get ready for the race. Raph-chan and I just stare at each other as we surprised about this week training. Well in the peaceful summer morning, we started our race. Obviously, Luc-chan already far way in just a minute.

”Are you kidding me!!!!, that's not the speed of an ordinary human can reach.”I said it out loud as I was surprised Luc-chan Luc-chan run more faster than what has he showed us in our training. All of us stunned at the speed of Luc-chan. It almost the same we see a wind passing by.
