If we can’t reach you during the critical moment of her labor, then what’s the point in having a husband like you?”

Nian Xi remained silent. While she was aware of Jiang Yuning’s autism, she was disappointed when she heard about how uncontactable he was when she regained consciousness in the morning.

Nian Junting’s words were like a hammer, clobbering against Jiang Yuning’s heart a few times.

Jiang Yuning’s eyes dimmed. He knew that he was not considered normal when compared with other people. However, he was slowly changing himself throughout all the years that he had known Nian Xi. “My phone rang several times last night. I was doing my experiment at the time, and because the call was from an unknown number, I didn’t pick it up.”

“You better store our numbers as soon as possible then,” Luosang replied quickly, out of fear that Nian Junting would continue to lecture Jiang Yuning. “You should also store the contact details of all of Nian Xi’s family members. If not, none of us would be able to reach you. Feng Ji Chuan watched over Nian Xi for the whole of last night. He even bought her fruits, breakfast, and necessities. Sigh.”

Jiang Yuning immediately panicked when he heard what she said. His jet black eyes looked as helpless as a fawn in shock. “Xixi…” he murmured.

“Yeah. I’m hurting and I need to rest.” Nian Xi closed her eyes lazily.

“Alright…” Jiang Yuning nodded his head furiously, before turning to ask the nurse about Nian Xi’s condition.
