Yan Su replied to him softly saying, “You’re so worked up now. Of course I had to hide from you. Did you think that I was just going to wait for you to give it to me? I was planning to tell you everything when we met for the New Year. I was going to bring you to see Yan Yan. I didn’t expect to break the news to you like this, or this early. I don’t want this to affect the compet.i.tion.”
