Luosang paused and knitted her brows. The encounter between her and Nian Junting tonight was an accident. She didn’t want Nian Junting to be a part of her current life. After all, they lived in two different worlds.

“This place is far away from downtown. It’s not safe for two pretty girls like you to take an Uber at night. Besides, it seems like the rain is going to fall again soon. You don’t have an umbrella. It’s better for us to just drive you to where you live. We’re all friends after all.” Lu Kang smiled friendly and said, “Please wait here, I’ll go get the car.”

After he finished talking, he quickly walked toward the parking lot without waiting for Luosang to respond.

About five minutes later, Lu Kang showed up driving a black Maybach. The unique design of the car made Yan Su show a surprised look in her eyes. She didn’t know much about cars, but she understood that this car would be one of the newest luxury vehicles on the market, as she hadn’t seen any car like it before.

“Is this a new car?” asked Luosang smilingly.

“Em,” Nian Junting responded.

Lu Kang got out of the car to open the backseat door. Nian Junting bent over to get into the car with Xiao Si.

Luosang glanced at the empty front seat. Yan Su was there, so she had no reason to take the front seat and leave Yan Su to sit in the back seat with Nian Junting. Therefore, she had no choice but to take the backseat as well.
