As soon as he returned to the Spirit World, Alex entered the bedroom with Lin Xingzhi. They used the door in the room to go to Lin Xingzhi's personal room, finding that her room was divided into two sides. The first side contained a bed, dress table, and wardrobe while the rest consisted of the plants she cultivated, including his Void Flower.

”You planted all this in your room?”

”Yep. You should have noticed that my room is smaller, no?” Lin Xingzhil tilted her head.

”Yeah. You only go to either the computer or your bed.”

”Hahaha! You are right. That's why I separate my room into two while building a moving wall.” Lin Xingzhi pointed at the railing in the ceiling and floor where she usually closed it during the unimportant time. ”Besides, I can work just fine in a small room since I only have eyes for the system or any other form of work that Korzan gave me.”

Alex nodded and saw that the plants on the other side of her room were rare Divine Plants. ”These plants…”

”Ah! As expected of an alchemist, I'm sure you have noticed it. Yes, the plants here are my most treasured plant.” Lin Xingzhi looked at her plants as if they brought her joy. She couldn't contain her smile this whole time. She turned around with a big smile. ”Of course. The most important one is your Void Flower. It's my most precious treasure.”

”…” Alex froze and realized his wrongdoing. For the others, he had been giving them anything, whether it was as normal as clothes or as important as cultivation. Yet, Lin Xingzhi hadn't gotten anything other than the wedding ring.

This struck him hard as he quickly thought of something. There was always a thought in his mind, telling him that Lin Xingzhi already had it all, so he never thought of giving something to her. However, it was wrong.

Even if she had the whole universe in her hand, it was different when her loved one actually gave her a present.

'I'm a failure…' Alex sighed inwardly before getting a jade necklace. The chains were golden like his Spirit Crown, while the jade had a sun symbol on it. Although this was just an ornament, he believed this was the most sincere thing he could ever give.

”Hm?” Lin Xingzhi tilted her head in confusion, not understanding Alex's gesture.

”Ehm…” Alex looked down for a few seconds before opening his mouth. ”I know that you don't need anything… And what you have given to me couldn't be compared to this, but I wish you can accept this.”

”!!!” Lin Xingzhi was surprised to see the necklace on his hand. It took her a whole minute to realize what he meant by giving her a necklace made of Rank 7 Materials. It wasn't for use but appearance. This was the only thing he thought would suit her. Something that couldn't be measured by value but far surpassed the value itself.

Lin Xingzhi smiled and lifted her hair before turning around. ”Can you help me put it on?”

Alex nodded with a gentle expression as he put the necklace on her neck.

At the same time, Lin Xingzhi slightly leaned to the back and kissed his cheek. ”Thank you, Husband.”

There was a feeling of happiness and relief in his heart… One which couldn't be described. He was glad he realized this.

Lin Xingzhi took a few steps forward while showing him the necklace. ”How does it look, Husband?”

”It's perfect.”

”Hehe…” Lin Xingzhi made a big grin before she leaped toward him and hugged Alex for two minutes. Unfortunately, this happiness needed to stop. Lin Xingzhi reluctantly released him and said, ”Alright. This should end now. Let me harvest the void flower first.”

He wanted to say something, but the words stuck on his throat as he stretched his hand forward as if wanting to stop her.

However, Lin Xingzhi just turned around with a gentle smile. ”Let's finish everything first, Husband. It's only a few decades…I can wait that long. After that, I will ask you to spoil me every day, okay?”

Alex closed his eyes, knowing that he was no match against her. ”Yeah. I promise.”

Lin Xingzhi then walked toward the Void Flower and carefully harvested it before presenting it to Alex with two hands. ”This is your Void Flower.”

Alex looked at this black flower which looked like a rose, but black. There was also a slight gimmick that could be seen from this flower. Along with the Space Element that it naturally released to the air, Alex made sure that it was really a Void Flower.

”Thank you.”

”With this flower, your Divine Energy reserve will become twice as big as the current one. However, if you use it, you need to recover twice as long as other people. You can't get all the benefits, okay? There is always a downside accompanying it. Either way, the downside is too small compared to the benefit.”

Alex nodded as he took the Void Flower.

”Now, let's go to your room. I will protect you while you refine this flower. After that, you can return to the Dungeon God's inheritance palace.”

”Yeah. I'm sorry that I can't be with all of you during this period.”

”Don't mind. In fact, I'm planning to send you to three worlds after you complete the inheritance.” Lin Xingzhi smirked. ”Two for the systems and one for the last body refinement.”

”I understand. Let's follow that schedule.” Alex nodded. ”By that time, I might be able to get near Rank 3 God stage.”

”Sure.” Lin Xingzhi pushed open the door, leading Alex to his room as she sat on the chair, watching him from the side.

Alex, on the other hand, looked at the Void Flower before using his Divine Energy to separate the stem from its body as Alex began pulling the petals one by one and swallowed them in one go.
