Chapter 452 - How Far Can She Actually Go and How Tall Can She Stand (1/2)
“Thank you, Master.” Ling Chuxi said to Mu Liufeng. She did not doubt Mu Liufeng’s words. Whether it was his mysterious, unpredictable cultivation or his ident.i.ty, there was no need to deceive her. The most important thing was that he was her own master. Although he was an irresponsible master, Ling Chuxi knew very clearly that Mu Liufeng never had any malicious intentions toward her.
“Go ahead. You guys don’t have to take care of things here.” Mu Liufeng waved to Ling Chuxi and the few of them.
Ling Chuxi and the few of them did not stay any longer. They carried Second Elder and Fifth Elder respectively and returned to the capital speedily. Fifth Elder had already long fell unconscious. Although he was covered in wounds, he did not sustain any fatal injuries. Ling Chuxi used the golden needles to stop the bleeding and there would not be anything serious after recuperating for some time.
“My Lord, we should leave.” A few middle-aged men with grim expressions only appeared after the figures of Ling Chuxi and the few of them had left and said to Mu Liufeng.
“Clean up this place first. Don’t let anyone make out any clues.” Mu Liufeng said indifferently.
“Yes.”
“My Lord, why did you not recruit them into our camp?” A man who was hiding behind Mu Liufeng like a shadow asked.
“Because they can go further and stand taller.” Mu Liufeng looked at Ling Chuxi’s back which was disappearing from his sight and his eyes were full of antic.i.p.ation. He really looked forward to seeing how far Ling Chuxi could actually go and how tall she could stand!

At dawn, a ray of sunlight shone in a slanted manner into the house.
Second Elder was lying on the bed with his eyes shut tightly. If one were to not observe carefully, one could almost not feel his heart beat and breathing. The loss of his life could only become slower by entering into this state of fake death which was enough to last him for half a year. Although he did not have the slightest consciousness, a comforted smile still hung on his face.
