Hearing him praising her, Amy's smile deepened.

At the same time, Ryan is at a loss. It's hard to act surprised, when you already knew the surprise.

Moreover Amy's smile made his heart flutter. He has seen her happy before, but still this felt different.

Amy expected her husband to be surprised, but seeing him that calm made her upset .

So she revealed the next surprise.

”You know where I got the job? Dark Horse Entertainment!! I get to be the assistant of the CEO!!” She nearly shouted while saying this.

Seeing the face that is literally ask him to praise her, Ryan felt guilty.

Anyway, he managed to reveal a surprised look.

”CEO's assistant??... Have you met him?.”

”No..but I met his assistance. It seems he is retiring.”

Ryan seriously listening to her as she recalled the events, when his phone suddenly rang. Seeing that it is his secretary, Ryan knew that it's already time for his meeting. He attended the call and said: ”Will be there in half an hour.”

Amy understood that her husband has to leave now. She doesn't want that but at the same time she can't stop him.

Raising from the chair, Ryan examined his wife's dejected face. But he really need to leave now.

”I'll come and pick you up this weekend. Pack your bags and be ready. You're coming home.”

Amy mood brightened upon hearing this.

At last she can be with him again.

Ryan walked towards the door, but suddenly stopped and turned to look at her.

”Amy... Remember this... I love you. I have always loved you and will love you.”

He tried to see her reaction, but Amy was stunned to hear his sudden proposal. She knew that their relationship has improved a lot but is not ready for this yet.

Sensing her mind, Ryan walked out the room saying: ”You don't have to see me out... Your answer..you can take your time. I'll wait.”
