2 Chapter 2: Unfamiliar Place (2/2)

Ned waited for a few minutes but there wasn't any change, he thought ”I'll think about this later” for now he decided to first secure a tall and wide enough tree, for him to hide and sleep the night, which he soon found.

The tree was perfect for his goal so he was satisfied, even more so as it could hide him with it's overgrown leafs or rather normal ones in this place If you were to consider the size of the trees.

He then, got down from the tree, and started looking in the surroundings for some edible fruits, as he couldn't possibly start a fire in this unknown place, as that would attract unwanted attention plus he'd have to suffer a bit if he was to try hunting one of those sheeps to cook it's meat.

Through his search He was able to gather a few red rounded fruits the size of apples, as he didn't have a bag he was only able to bring four fruits before wrapping them in a leaf and climbing atop his tree to hide them, he then went to the same place where he found them and again plucked another four to return with.

From this small and dangerous expedition He observed a new type of animal, a green rabbit, a bit bigger than normal ones but overall the same except the white tail which stands out, it only ate gra.s.s too so he wasn't afraid of it, and thought it's a better and easy prey to hunt than the sheep, he was lucky for now as he didn't encounter a dangerous animal.

Soon it was dark, and he had already ate three apples and was biting the fourth one. The apples were just sweet and refres.h.i.+ng rather than the sweet and sour taste he was expecting.

As he was tired he soon closed his eyes, but couldn't sleep as his mind was working rapidly, thinking of how this situation was too much for a normal guy and of various other things such as how tomorrow he'll need to search for a stream, for water, also he needs to hunt some rabbits for meat. And to hunt he needs a weapon…

Suddenly he sprang awake immediately, as he heard the familiar robot sounding voice exclaiming in his mind :
