2 Chapter 2: Unfamiliar Place (1/2)

Ned woke up the next morning, but after seeing his surroundings he couldn't help but exclaim in surprise. ”What the...!!!??”.

As his eyes darted about, he saw plains with tall gra.s.s and trees with a height of over 20 meters, and he was standing on a hill, from where he can see no end to the greenery.

Ned took a few minutes to calm down, then he began to ponder, ”Is this a kidnapping or am I dead? This is weird I shouldn't be important enough for someone to try to kidnap me right? Then is it that I died? Hmm, how is it possible that I arrived here after dying then? No matter how I see it this doesn't look like Heaven it's just plains, and there's even sheep in the distance and birds, And it's obviously not h.e.l.l”.

As his eyes kept looking around, many thoughts swarmed his head, but a dream wasn't one for he eliminated it due to the strong smell of nature and the wind breezing past him as no dream can be this realistic.

Ned then checked himself, he was wearing black shorts and a white t-s.h.i.+rt along with slippers, casual clothes that were comfy, and also the ones he was wearing yesterday night. Seeing his clothes made it even more incomprehensible to understand the situation, a guy in shorts and a t-s.h.i.+rt suddenly wakes up in a plain, he suddenly grows enlightened. ”this sounds too familiar” he thought.

Since it didn't look like he was kidnapped or is in Heaven Then he should start considering that possibility, that he transmigrated to this place, as crazy as it sound it was the only conclusion he can reach.

”What should I do then ?”, Ned thought, ”If it really is transmigration then does that mean I no longer exist in the other world? My parents would be worried otherwise, but still I can only hope they still remember me as I don't want to be forgotten. For now I should figure out where am I, and where to go then, as there's a chance this place or world could be an uncivilized one or even have Magical creatures.”

He shuddered at that thought, but this was merely the knowledge of novels he read before, nothing final.

Walking slowly he started going down the hill, while vigilant of his surroundings. Since the hill was tall enough he didn't need to climb a tree to look ahead, though he thought he'll climb one to rest when the night falls.

For now he didn't see any ferocious animal or any other animal than the sheep and birds, he tried getting near one of the sheep but it just looked at him then continued eating the gra.s.s, probably because he didn't look like a threat to them as these sheep were a bit bigger than the ones from earth and probably much stronger.

He was curious towards the sheep but also wary, while he was walking, all of a sudden he was dumbstruck as if lightning had just stunned him, because he heard a voice in his ears, a voice that said :[initiating the Origine s.p.a.ce …initiating…].

He hurriedly looked around him in horror, only to find nothing ”what the h.e.l.l, who's there? Is anyone there?!!” he kept yelling but there was no answer, after a few seconds of looking around he calmed down and the voice saying ”initiating” wasn't heard again, previously it felt like it was from his brain rather than from outside, so he began to think of such similar situations he read about in novels, the only thing he can reference from currently ”What's this exactly? Could this be some sort of gift for me to live in this world? Hmm, But why did it shut up all of a sudden?”
