Aloe wasted no time in summoning the her orbs.

She stood up from the coach and held out her right hand. The gesture activated her medical kit, opening it up entirely and all eight of her orbs flew towards her and then orbited her arm.

Frost. Blaze. Screen. Spark. Gel. Blade. Foam. Scan.

The technology was truly revolutionary. Her control of these orbs stemmed from her small hoop earrings (customisable), which were virtually synced to each individual orb and the box itself. These earrings acted as a proxy, connecting all orbs to each other and the box. This was important as the box's levitation was powered by Super-Rare sOr [Squall], so the orbs being indirectly synced to it enabled them to also fly.

The earrings also acted as a command hub. They allowed her to manipulate the entire system by tracking her physical, vocal and even mental gestures.

So some may ask, why bother use any other type of command when you could just think the orbs' actions into existence?

It's important to note that Aloe was Zephyrian, not a robot. Thoughts have immense potency with the correct focus, and Aloe was fully capable of that. But she lived in a physical world. It was only natural for her to be comfortable with what's tangible. This was further encouraged by her past experience in medical school, the Police Force and the Air Force, all involving very practical and verbal responsibilities. As such, she grew accustomed to manipulating her sOr orbs using gestures and vocal commands, and her thoughts acted were utilised more so for calibration and flight trajectory.

”Should I remove the sOrs from the orbs?” Aloe asked eagerly.

Ryan shook his head. ”That won't be necessary. Those orbs are fundamentally sound.”

He turned to her old box, which was currently empty.

”But I will transfer the box's sOr and resync.”

Ryan quickly formed two virtual links and joined each earring to a new Utility Case, the only remaining piece of the Vanguard Armoury on display. These links connected them to the box and, by proxy transfer, the orbs within.

He performed the typical routine of transferring the old box's [Squall] sOr to the Case, then manifested a physical fibre blade to slash the air, severing the previous thread connecting the old box to her earrings.

”Transfer is complete. Your earrings have synced to the new Case and the orbs it contains.”

Aloe instantly felt the new power of the additional orbs. She stared at the Case, which seemed like a larger, grandiose, curved version of her former. Hesitating slightly, she raised her left arm to join the other.

The hatchet on the side of the Case opened without a sound, and eight more orbs popped out and floated towards Aloe, settling to an orbit around her left hand (mirroring the ones on the right).

She pushed her left palm out to stop these mid-air and briefly examined each new orb, identifying it's nature and capabilities. She then ”juggled” all 16 orbs simultaneously, examining them as she pondered upon the infinite possibilities.

The room was completely silent as everyone marvelled at the spectacle.

Every other Vanguard Member possessed a sOr of Ultra-Rare quality, meaning that they were the sole possessor for their respective types. They were blessed with unparalleled power, yet here they were, admiring and respecting the one member that differed.

To be fair, it was almost unheard of that someone would wield the power of multiple sOr of Super-Rare quality of above, yet Aloe had full control over 17 (including the Case's). The respect was definitely well-deserved.
