Chapter 25 (2/2)
Under the circumstances, there was no need to worry. After all, the party had a healing class player so they could be healed when they had low health. However, the problem was that the only one who could heal the party, Dark Mage Smoking Without Fire, was attacking excitedly along with everyone else!
Upon seeing this, Fatty wanted to curse!
The Dark Mage belonged to the Priest Class. Besides having a certain output based on skills, Dark Mages could produce a regenerative effect. Furthermore, in the later stages, they also had more debuffing skills. The Dark Mage could be considered a healing, supporting role.
However, Smoking Without Fire had completely ignored this role. He constantly used the Dark Mage’s skill called Dark Origin to hit the Human Thief that Bookworm was attacking. This Level 2 Dark Origin Skill could produce an additional 10 points of magic damage when it landed on the enemy. However, if it landed on a party member, it would cause a regenerative effect of around 23 points. With such a simple comparison, anyone could see that their healing effect would have a better effect than their attacks. However, Smoking Without Fire had not learned this.
In this case, a party of players were all attacking, yet nobody cared about poor Death Knight Bookworm. They let him, who resisted against the enemies, continuously lose HP.
Eventually, Fatty couldn’t stand it anymore. He shouted on the party channel through the headset, “Big Brother, heal the Death Knight!”
Everyone had been fighting happily, so they were stunned before they reacted.
Smoking Without Fire responded and used the Dark Origin on Bookworm in a hurry.
After he was healed, Bookworm was refreshed. He seemed to be much more courageous and he attacked with even more power. Smoking Without Fire, who was also proud, lifted his hand to heal Bookworm again.
In the end, Fatty shouted on the party channel again, “Big Brother, what are you anxious about? Keep your mana!”
Fatty might have been born with a talent for annoying people. When he shouted ‘Big Brother’, he sounded helpless, miserable, and aggrieved. He sounded as if he’d expected better from them. Smoking Without Fire couldn’t help but tremble. He couldn’t release his Dark Origin Skill anymore…
After suffering such a stimulus, Smoking Without Fire couldn’t help but turn around and glare at Fatty fiercely.
Fatty had known this would happen because Smoking Without Fire was the party’s commander. Although he had shouted like that to warn them, he was challenging the authority of a commander. It would be weird if he was not hated for that.
However, Fatty had been forced to shout. Bookworm had enough HP as a Death Knight, so it would be fine as long as they maintained a systematic healing rate and didn’t let him die. They now only had three enemies. What was the use if Smoking Without Fire healed him vigorously to his maximum HP? He might as well maintain half of his health. After their enemies were all killed, he should sit down and slowly regenerate. This way, the healer’s mana consumption would also be smaller and he could regenerate to his full health in a short time. Wasn’t this more efficient?
This was basic knowledge of clearing a dungeon, but Smoking With Fire didn’t know any of these things… The most unfortunate thing was that he was actually staring at Fatty!
At this thought, Fatty couldn’t help but get angry.
The three Human Thieves of the Gerov Camp were not hard to kill. After spending some time, they managed to kill them.
Besides Undead Thief Crayon Knife and Fatty’s Venomancer, who both hadn’t made any mistakes, the other three had acted recklessly.
Bookworm had boldly rushed forward to resist against the three Human Thieves, only causing himself to lose more than half of his HP and making Smoking With Fire consume a lot of mana. Furthermore, because Smoking With Fire had attacked along with the party in the beginning, he had wasted a lot of mana. By the time the last battle ended, his mana had actually run out!
Even Pyromancer Playing With Fire had made a mistake. In fact, if he had made use of the Flaming Imps he had summoned to kill the three Human Thieves, he could have drawn each of them over one by one to kill them. The Flaming Imps could release ranged flame arrows that went further than anyone present and were definitely experts at drawing monsters over.
However, he hadn’t come to his senses or allowed Bookworm to resist against the three enemies as a Death Knight…
After recalling the course of events while they had killed the enemies just now, Fatty was speechless.
He was not afraid of god-like opponents but of dumb party members! It seemed like they might not clear this novice dungeon…
