Lu Feng looked around then laughed, “Speaking of your sister, why hasn’t she come out.” Bai Yao replied, “It is because of a custom, only at noon when the wedding starts will she come out.

Lu Feng made a Oh sound, he suddenly understood. Then a guard called out, “Tian Family young master has arrived!”

Bai Yao was confused, “This Tian family, why have they arrived so early ah.” Lu Feng was also curious, it was still morning. Usually if it was someone ordinary, arriving early wasn’t anything of particular concern. Except this was the Tian family which was the one that held the most power in Qinglong town, arriving this early was just wishful thinking.

At the main entrance, the Tian family’s young master Tian Lang was walking whilst waving a fan and laughing. Bai Yao stood up and went over, “Tian Lang, why are you so early.”

Tian Lang continued laughing, “I was thinking of meeting the Bai family’s new son-in-law. See if he really was like the rumors, a beggar.” Bai Yao’s face suddenly became ugly, he knew they were here to cause trouble.

The Bai family’s guards faces also turned ugly, after all they are somewhat part of the Bai family. When their master’s face was beaten how could they remain clam.

Tian Lang as if he was feeling regret hurriedly said, “It was just a slip of the tongue, your new son-in-law isn’t a beggar.” At this moment Lu Feng smiled, “I was wondering who it was, turns out it was the young master Tian. Are you actually blind, didn’t you yesterday already meet me? Your guards also had a good look of me all frightened and carried you away. And in the end?”

When he spoke finish, the Bai family’s guards all felt refreshed, Bai Yao quickly seized the chance to counterattack, “Young master Tian, are you really blind? Do you need me to bring someone over to check.”

“No need for it”, Tian Lang said in annoyance. Bai Yao then smiled and said “If there’s nothing else for me, I’ll be going back inside for a little break.” Tian Lang huffed contemptuously, and replied “I heard rumors that Lu Feng is the disciple of the Living Immortal, so he must have a certain degree of strength and skill. Today, I’ve brought the Tian Family’s Cultivator to test out his skill!. What d’ya think of this?”

The crowd gasped when they heard of the Tian Family’s Cultivator. They all knew in order to defeat a Cultivator in battle, the person has to go through rigorous cultivation, and be ten times stronger than an average human. However Bai Yao wasn’t an idiot, and immediately rejected Young Master Tian’s offer. “Young Master Tian, today is a happy occasion, so please refrain from any acts of violence. If you do want to test out Lu Feng’s skill, reschedule it to another day.”

Tian Lang indignantly replied “How can this be? This Cultivator that came with me today sacrificed his own training time to come here. He really wants to spar with Lu Feng, am I right, Gui s.h.i.+?”

At that moment, a black midget emerged from the guards. His eyes were like a snake’s, and he merely stared straight forward. “That’s right, I want to have a friendly sparring session with the Living Immortal’s disciple, and test out his abilities.” he said.

Bai Yao frowned and said “Young Master Tian, are you here to look for trouble?” His sudden outburst towards Tian Lang caused the guests to gasp and turn their heads toward him.

In that instant, there was a huge uproar. Tian Lang’s intention today was to come and mess things up and embarra.s.s Lu Feng. Whether Lu Feng decided to retaliate or not, it didn’t matter to Tian Lang. He said mockingly “Looks like the disciple of the Living Immortal is just useless trash. Or should I say, beggar?”

The servants of the Tian Family chuckled in amus.e.m.e.nt. Bai Yao couldn’t take it anymore, and lashed back, saying “Fine! If it’s a fight you want, I’ll fight you!” However, this only made made Tian Lang laugh. “Young Master Bai, we all know you’ve cultivated before. Just a shame, after so many years of cultivation, you still can’t amount to anything. Well, you’re still considered a Cultivator, aren’t you?” Tian Lang taunted.

Bai Yao huffed and retorted “You’re letting this Cultivator in, so why can’t I fight him? Cultivator versus Cultivator.” “No can do. This man wants to fight Lu Feng, not Young Master Bai. So Young Master Bai, please just let us proceed.” Tian Lang requested.

Bai Yao coldly replied “You want to get to him, you are going to have to go through me first.” Lu Feng heard this and was grateful for what Bai Yao is doing for him. Bai Yao wanted to protect Lu Feng, and wanted to protect this wedding. If something happened to Lu Feng, there would be no groom, and it would be embarra.s.sing.

The Bai Family servants that were onlooking went to call for Mistress Bai and the Bai Family Head. When the Bai Family Head heard of the news, he rushed to the scene as quickly as he could. Upon arriving, he saw Bai Yao and Tian Lang quarreling. He stepped between the two men and laughed “Young Master Tian, if you’re hear to have a friendly duel with my son, why not postpone it to another day? After all, today is my daughter’s wedding.”

However, Tian Liang stood his ground and replied “Bai Family Head, you’re the head of the third most influential family in QingLong Town. The person that your daughter is marrying to, is the disciple of the Living Immortal. Of course we want to test out the abilities of this man, or you’re just gonna let a liar and a fake enter your household. That wouldn’t be good, would it?”

The Bai Family Head obviously knew that Lu Feng had no abilities, and knew that this was all to cure Miss Bai’s illness. Just as he was about to reject Tian Lang, there was an almost melodic laugh that came from the entrance. “The Xia Family would also want to see if the new son-in-law of the Bai Family is really as competent as he’s said to be. Or perhaps, maybe a fake?” the stranger said.

The Bai Family was at a loss. Not only did the Tian Family showed up, but now the Xia Family has as well.

The Xia Family was led by Xia Qin, and all the guests knew that today, these two families were going to make Lu Feng’s life a living h.e.l.l. The hope of Lu Feng’s wedding going smoothly slowly died out.

The Bai Family also knew that today would be troublesome. Bai Yao stood in front of the both, and sternly “Miss Xia, Young Master Tian. Like I just said, if you’re so h.e.l.lbent on getting Lu Feng, you’re gonna have to go through me first!”
