The trio had left that area and Noah was talking to the other agents. Sam and Troy were the only ones left in that room.

”Sir, what happened to him within a day?” Troy asked Sam in confusion.

”He's just denying himself.” Sam said but his words confused him even more.

”What do you mean?” Troy asked in curiosity.

”There isn't just one reason for his reaction.” Sam said and Troy just looking at him asking him to tell the reason already.

”They didn't spend much time with each other and thus he doesn't know her very well. All these years he created an image of her and how she'd be when he met her again but when he faced the reality his hopes crashed and his disappointment turned into anger.” He said as he started walking outside the room and Troy followed him closely.

”He knows that Meera is right but he can't accept the fact that he's a criminal now and is not a match for her for she's a lot better than him. For once, they both were in power but she reached the top while he fell on the floor. He's denying the fact that he was wrong all this while and isn't as capable as her and to run away from reality, he's made his own story. He started to believe that she's the one who did wrong and thus he got caught so much in his own lie that he thinks it's true. Now it doesn't matter if they put the whole truth in front of him. He'll always believe his lie cause that's what he likes more than reality.” Sam said and Troy stopped walking.

”So he really doesn't love her anymore?” He asked.

”He fell in love with the girl he met three years ago and the one in his imagination. Now, Meera has changed a lot, she's become a lot stronger than before. And this is very bad for me now?” Sam said with a sigh.

”How? I mean we have Noah by our side. We can use him against her.” Troy said but Sam shook his head.

”She's lost everything and Noah was the only one she loved. He left her, she'll be even more dangerous now, for she doesn't have anything to lose now. Even if she gets herself killed she'll finish this war.” He explained.

”Sir how do you know about all this?” Troy asked in curiosity.

”History is just repeating itself.” He said and looked at the sky. ”Years ago, this all happened with me, I also denied the reality just like he's doing and look where I'm standing today. But I'm happy for him.”
