”Of course, Sir”

I said with gritted teeth and went to stand next to him so he could ”look better”.

”Today, you have a lunch with the President of HP group to discuss your new merger. You also have to finish looking over the proposals from the financial team to see how to make our stocks rise. You are free for the later evening.” I said in a medium pace so he couldn't say I was speaking too slow or too fast. Because no matter how annoying he was I really needed this job. The pay was so high for something so easy. But today I was starting to see that it wasn't easy because it took a lot of effort to not strangle this man.

”HP group? They said they wanted to cancel our merger.” He said in an annoyed tone.

I sighed and said ”Since you wanted this merger to go through I made sure that they weren't able to cancel.”

He faced me with a glint of amusement in his eyes and an evil smirk on his face and said ”I think i'm going to keep you around.”

Then he bent down so our faces were just inches apart and looked me straight in the eyes with that smirk still plastered on his face.

I didn't want to back away as to not offend him, but it was starting to seem like I was also going to be working with a pervert.

Suddenly there was a loud knock on the door. And he stood up so our faces weren't near each other anymore and I sighed in relief.

Before letting whoever was at the door in he looked at me, patted my head and bent down so his head was on the side opposite from his hand. He touched his lips to my ear and said in a deep voice.

”I'm sure well have lots of fun up here, Haley.” He made sure to enunciate my name.

Then he slowly stood all the way up and walked towards the couch that was in his office.

”Come in.”

Another handsome man walked in he seemed closer to my age than the boss was maybe around 21 which would be only a year older than me. It's not that the boss was old he was around 4 years older than me which was still a bit. As that would make him 24.

”Hello!”

The handsome man said with a bright and clear voice while bowing towards both the CEO and me.

”I was wondering if I would be able to talk to your assistant for a moment?”

He said facing the CEO and smiling.

”Yes you may, but only outside the glass window. I don't like my assistants being too far away as you must know.”

The coldness in his voice almost made me feel a chill.

Wait, Wait. He wants to watch me talk to the cute guy? Now I won't be able to flirt with him. Not that I was going to be able to anyway. I am very friendly I was just never great at flirting in my opinion.

I stepped outside with the man. And i could see him a lot better. He wasn't as handsome as the CEO but he was definitely beautiful.

He was also tall only around 6'0. His hair was styled more fashionably than the bosses. His suit also fit his perfect body well.

I guess handsome people are the only people that work here, I said while day dreaming.

The man must have realized I was staring cause he said ”Like what you see cause I could show you more later if you want.” and he leaned in close and winked.

”huh, what? uh I wasn't- um.” I said stammering and blushing a bit.

”Don't worry I was just joking. I like to play around. It's nice to know how pretty you look when you blush though.” he said and pinched my cheek. While smiling like a littlebunny.

”ah, oh thank you.” I said smiling wide as well.

”Well I guess I should introduce myself i'm Li Qiang and you are Haley right?” He said while extending his hand to shake mine.

”Yes I am, It's nice to meet you Li Qiang.” I said smiling while making eye contact. And reaching out to shake his hand as well.

He released his hand and said ”I came to tell you were having a welcoming party for you today. Sort of like a company dinner, I'm going to assume you'll definitely need a drink after dealing with the boss all day.”
