Arianna stood nervously in the main hall, waiting for her Lord and G.o.d to appear before her. The journey had been rather quick, expedited by using the teleportation ritual as soon as she could. This was urgent news and it required meeting him in person.

It had been some time since she sent the guard to fetch her master and she grew impatient. However, solid footsteps soon echoed from further inside the castle and she knelt in antic.i.p.ation. Her G.o.d would have ignored her rudeness even if she did not kneel but her devotion to him would not allow her to insult him thus.

She remained wit her head held low until her Lord's rough voice beckoned her.

”Arianna, it has been quite some time. What brings you here today?”

”Oh, Living G.o.d J'aymezh, it is with gr--”

James cut her off.

”Please. I have said so many times now, 'my Lord' is sufficient.”

”Yes...my Lord. It is with great trepidation that I bring you news from our efforts. We have found another item as detailed in your holy scripture.”

Her G.o.d's eyes widened at that remark and he seemed quite intrigued.

”Ahh, the list? Tell me, what did you find this time?”

She gestured to behind her where a small chest lay on the ground.

J'aymezh bent down and opened the lid, surprise clearly visible upon his face when he saw what lay inside.

”What! How? These are guns!”

(Yes! I can't believe after so many years that I've found it, the most elusive item on the list! It had been quite some time since our last find, what was it again? I think it was some kind of metal object that created fire, a lighter was its name I think? No matter, all items on the list are dangerous and for our protection their creators must be stopped.)

The List is J'aymezh's ultimate work. The Society of the Video Game follows it religiously and based their teachings upon it. Outlined in the book are a list of dangerous items from J'aymezh's world that should be treated as evil and destroyed as well as the story of how he came here.

32 years ago the human kingdoms, Leganon, Moburi and Nansen, faced a severe threat that would have destroyed them utterly. In a last ditch effort, they invoked an ancient ritual to summon heroes to this world to defend them but the ritual was rushed and the summoning altar was damaged in the process. The heroes succeeded in defeating the enemy, a coalition of lizardman from Varnia and beastfolk from Louradariz that were led by a greater demon.

After the demon's defeat, his hold on the lizards and beastfolk subsided and a peace was reached with both sides seeking a truce. Animosities from that time are still fresh in everyone's minds and has prevented the human kingdoms from trading with their old enemies.
