Wilfred was the first to speak afterwards.

”Huh. So what's inspect? Also why doesn't your Barrier have a level, like Lucy?”

Meanwhile, Lucius was still looking at Wilfred's status.

”Wow. Some of your stats are off the charts. The Headmaster's still got you beat though. Oh, Inspect? It's a rare skill. Allows you to kind of do the same as a.n.a.lyze but with items. Really useful in regards to weapons and armor, for potions too now that I think about it.”

Lucius then kept talking, leaving no room to Wilfred to talk.

”Who's Lucy? Most spells can be leveled up when practiced enough, they become stronger but there's also some requirements before it can level up.”

Lucius then continued on before Wilfred got time to interject again.

”You know...I thought you'd be more sn.o.bby. It's not every day we get a genius at the academy. You seem alright though.”

”Thanks, you too. Everyone's picking me on though, haven't really made friends here yet. ”

”I mean, I'd be your friend. I'm also somewhat of an outcast type. Most people here come in order to be a Mage soldier. My family's more of a lesser n.o.ble one and I'd like to try and get into enchanting to make money for them. Making magical items you know. Speaking of which, artifacts are magical items created by the G.o.ds. There's not a ton of them but they're really powerful. They're not always what you'd expect either, not like a sword or a bow, but some weird items too.”

Huh...Perhaps like items from my world? Would those qualify as artifacts in this one? Hmmm, well it's worth a try.

”And do you know how they make them? How would I use my skill?”

”Hmmm. No one's made any, that I know of anyhow. Try activating it like a.n.a.lyze but also think of an artifact in your mind, what represents one for you, how it works and why it works.”

What's an artifact to me? Hmmm...a gun would be great actually. It's very foreign to this world, might fit the criteria. Let's focus now; so it fires a projectile very fast using an explosion, black and metal, sight, trigger and clip.

”So let's try this, [Create Artifact]!”

A light blue magic began emanating from Wilfred's hands, creating shapes and settling into what appears to be a cylinder with a handle.

”Wow, it worked. This is a Beret--, actually, can you inspect it Lucius? I'm not quite sure what it is.”

This would be a good opportunity to see what his skill does.

”Wow, I've never seen magic used like that to create something. I've heard about it being used..”

Wilfred interrupted Lucius with a wave of his hand and handed him the object. If he started talking, it would never end.

”Right, [Inspect]!”

Effect: Fires a pure magical bullet, non-elemental. Can fire 12 shots before you must recharge with mana.

Wilfred watched as Lucius's eyes grew wider and wider, almost bulging out of his head.

”Well?? Can you tell me what it says?”

”Ahh..wha...must be something wrong with my skill. It says the attack is 215 and that the weapon is lv25. But that's ridiculous, the most I've seen before, and that was in a book, was 450 attack for a sword supposedly made by the G.o.ds!”

Wilfred smirked and took the gun back, having a great idea.

”Come on Lucius, let's go take a walk outside.”
