Chapter 196: She is called Xiao Xi

This strange scene stunned Ye Tian Xie and Su Fei Fei.  When Su Fei Fei's hand was about to touch her, the little girl's brows slightly twitched a bit……Instantly, Su Fei Fei's hand suddenly stopped and a strange expression appeared on her face.  She tried to move her hand forward, but she found that she had touched an invisible gla.s.s, having no way of moving forward.

”This…..Tian Xie, what is happening……Why is my hand…..Why does it feel like something is blocking it even though there is clearly nothing there.”  Su Fei Fei looked at her own hand in a stunned manner and then she tried to stretch her hand out again……The same scene happened again.  An invisible gla.s.s appeared around the little girl and she had no way of touching her body.

This strange phenomenon that violated the natural laws of the world made Su Fei Fei lose herself in fear.  After everything that had happened tonight, she began to feel like everything was a dream.

This little girl was really strange……The thunderstorm, the knocking on the door, the closed eyes, and that silent calm…..Also this phenomenon that could not be explained with common sense…….

Ye Tian Xie reached his hand at the girl and surprised Su Fei Fei.  With the same movement, Ye Tian Xie's hand was actually not stopped as he reached out and touched her shoulder.

After being drenched for so long, the little girl's body was frighteningly cold.  When his hand touched her shoulder, he could tell that her body was slightly trembling.  Suddenly the little girl rushed forward and forcefully threw herself into Ye Tian Xie's chest, tightly hugging him…..Very tightly…..

Ye Tian Xie and Su Fei Fei looked at each other in blank dismay and were silent for a while.

”Little sister.”  Ye Tian Xie gently patted her shoulder as he probingly spoke to her.

”Big…..brother……”

The little girl that was slightly trembling and gently crying while hugging Ye Tian Xie spoke.  Her voice was as gentle as a fairy, but it was clearly filled with difficulties……As if, these two words already took a lot of effort from her.

Big brother?  Su Fei Fei looked at Ye Tian Xie with a strange look as if she was asking…..Is she your sister?  But actually, she already knew that Ye Tian Xie no longer had any family left in this world.  He only had three friends and had no little sister at all.

”I am not your big brother little sister, you've recognized the wrong person.”  Ye Tian Xie revealed a helpless smile to Su Fei Fei as he told the little girl the truth.

”Big…..brother, big brother…..”

She tightly hugged his body, burying her head into his chest as she silently cried.

Su Fei Fei once again tried to touch the little girl.  Her hand came within a few centimeters of the little girl's body, but it could not go forward anymore…..This impossible scenario made Su Fei Fei very disturbed, but she also felt a hard to describe uncomfortable feeling.

”Tian Xie…..She really is strange.  Why can I not touch her body?  Is it an illusion?  Also…..Tian Xie, look at her shoulder, there is a note there.”

With Su Fei Fei's reminder, Ye Tian Xie's eyes looked over at the little girl's shoulder……There was indeed a note there.  The little girl had stood in the rain for so long and her clothes were completely wet.  It it was a normal note, then it would have been distorted by the rain or even would have been destroyed…..But that note on the hem of her shoulder was strangely in perfect condition, as if the rain had not touched it at all.

Ye Tian Xie probingly touched the note and it was easily lifted up, falling into his hand.  Opening the note, he saw that there two simple sentences written on it.

The first line only said: Her name is Xiao Xi.

Like he had been struck by lightning, Ye Tian Xie's eyes suddenly constricted.  His body turned stiff and his focused eyes suddenly became relaxed……While he was absent minded, that piece of paper gently fell from his hand and landed on the floor.

”Tian Xie?”  Ye Tian Xie's reaction made Su Fei Fei fl.u.s.tered as she asked in a nervous voice.

Lifting up the little girl in his arms, Ye Tian Xie suddenly charged out the door, charging out ten meters where she had just been standing.  He looked up and watched the rain falling in the dark night while quietly standing there with no expressions.  Even though the rain fell into his eyes, he did not blink at all.  It was as if he had completely lost himself.

”Tian Xie!  What's wrong Tian Xie!”  The frightened Su Fei Fei ignored the heavy rain and the flas.h.i.+ng lightning as she ran out beside him.  She hugged his body as if to prevent him from suddenly running away, ”Tian Xie, stop scaring me.  What's happening with you?”

Su Fei Fei that instantly became drenched could not feel the rain falling on her or hear the sounds of the thunder roaring at all, she was completely focused on Ye Tian Xie alone……The violent reaction and mood change he experienced was only displayed for one person…..His Xian'er.

”Xian'er……”

Ye Tian Xie raised his head, looking at the dark sky as he shouted the name that deeply enveloped his dreams, the name he could never forget, the name that was imprinted onto his very soul, but his voice was swallowed up by the rain and thunder.  Ye Tian Xie closed his eyes and tightly clenched his fists, as he continued to ask himself……
