While Zed didn't notice this, Kirk and Jean did.
Jean had a different look on her face. She stared Jesse for a while before resuming her to normal demeanor.
Meanwhile, Kirk looked at Jesse with a meaningful look before turning to Zed and Jean. ”Jean, Zed, why are you both so quiet?”
”Oh, we're just listening in,” Zed chuckled. ”We spent the night on the plane so we're both a little tired...”
”Go back to your room and rest first. I'll call you when lunch is ready,” Kirk urged him with concern.
”Okay,” Zed nodded and looked at Jean for approval.
Jean didn't want to stay any longer, so she nodded in agreement.
Zed nodded and turned to Kirk, ”Kirk, you can keep Jesse company. Jean and I will go rest first. Don't forget to call us when lunch is ready.”
”Sure, don't worry. We won't starve you here!” Kirk nodded and said.
”Father, Zed and I will go back to our room first to rest,” Jean said to Sean who was sitting near them.
