Right after that, Frostramparts and Earthramparts appeared out of nowhere and blocked their path.
The very next moment, violent winds blew across the swamp. Water splashed as mud was unearthed and joined the dried leaves and danced along with the force of the wind. It was not a regular wind. It was a storm. The surroundings were immediately clouded with mud and water particles, reducing the visibility down to almost a meter's distance.
Eight Gods Clan members, who were in charge of keeping an eye out for the group of enemies from Citadel, were extremely frustrated.
Although they knew that the enemies would want to see them fall, but to have them completely annihilated during the boss fight was just too much for the Eight Gods to handle. From another perspective, the boss was helping the enemies of the Eight Gods! They were already accustomed to anger and frustration.
A single Tier 3 Overlord and a couple of troublemakers had cost several Eight Gods Clan members! It was a battle that was not worth the trouble!

Just when a group of players had entered the quiet battlefield; the monsters that had mysteriously disappeared without anyone noticing had suddenly resurface behind the perfect formation of the Eight Gods attacking force.

With a loud rumble, the AoE attack Spikeweed suddenly appeared, causing splatters of blood in the center of Eight Gods Clan's party!

Amidst the terrified scream, white light rose one after another. They had clearly underestimated the Overlord. Gargantuan Demoncroc's attack was not that easy to endure.
The moment Spikeweed appeared, a huge roar erupted as the Gargantuan Demoncroc suddenly broke out from the swamp in front of them. Its more than ten-meter long body which was like a gigantic earthy yellow iron rod, jumped up high! After rising into the air like a log, it then landed itself with a thundering manner onto a group of Eight Gods Clan players who were unable to evade in time!

The ground shook, as a few unlucky fellows who failed to dodge were being directly pressed under its body. In a split second, two ten-meter wide and five-meter-tall Frostramparts burst out of the ground.
With Gargantuan Demoncroc as the center, a powerful shockwave burst out, sending more than ten members of the Eight Gods Clan flying. Those that were send off their feet had turned into a pillar of light before they could even land.
It was an instant-kill!
At this moment, close to a hundred Citadel players started advancing from several directions toward the battlefield where the Gargantuan Demoncroc was rampaging…
A few groups of Eight Gods Clan members that were going to rush into the battlefield to provide aid were stunned as they saw their enemy re-appear. They could not help but shiver as they acknowledged the enemies were coming in, kamikaze style.
In that moment of hesitation, the Gargantuan Demoncroc suddenly roared and lifted its head exposing its huge and white neck. A huge vortex appeared instantly in the air.
Those that were still alive and fighting instantly went pale...
