The group of people's attention was diverted at once as Brother Da's distraction plan succeeded. Qin Ruo stopped talking and continued to keep a close eye on the battlefield. If it were not for the pulling force in the swamp and AoE attack cast by the Gargantuan Demoncroc, Eight Gods Clan might have annihilated the Devilcrocs and focused on attacking Gargantuan Demoncroc by now!

Without the Devilcrocs protection, the Gargantuan Demoncroc alone is certainly not able to withstand all those attacks from hundreds for Tier 4 players. Losing is just a matter of time. The onlookers mused.

Many were anxious as they signaled Citadel's players with their eyes—warning them if they did not interfere soon, they would lose the Boss!

However, those Citadel players who had experience in taking on the Gargantuan Demoncroc remained silent, while nervously looking at the Overlord. They had no intention of interrupting the battle between Eight Gods Clan and the Gargantuan Demoncroc.

As the rest had never encountered the creature before, they had zero knowledge of what it was capable of and its abilities!

Even though the Gargantuan Demoncroc was a mere Tier 3 Overlord with the ability level equivalent to a Tier 4 Boss, it had a terrifying power in Devil's Swamp!

Since the Gargantuan Demoncroc had not used its trump card, it proved that the creature was not in dire states yet...

Once it was used, hah! Eight Gods Clan would lose an entire team!

It would be more feasible to launch an ambush when that happens than disrupt the plans of Eight Gods Clan now.

Qin Ruo had already shifted his focus away from Devil's Snare and the other Herbs, as was he anxiously waiting for the moment Gargantuan Demoncroc unleashes its full power.

However his target was different from that of others!

His colleagues who were filled with hatred and resentment thought that the best way to get revenge was to thwart the Eight God Clan's members to encircle the Gargantuan Demoncroc and kill more Hunters...

Yet to Qin Ruo, aside from causing havoc, he would rather try to regain everyone's losses from the opponent instead of continuing the struggle over Gargantuan Demoncroc and wasting skills attacking each other.

Although the Eight Gods Clan's members collected their drops immediately, they still stood a chance... As long as the situation becomes more chaotic and more players are killed, they could take the risk to grab some good equipment from their enemies.

Ideally, the final outcome would be Eight Gods Clan not gaining anything in Devil Swamp but also lose many pieces of equipment and drop in levels.

After revealing his plan, the majority of them nodded in agreement. However, there were still two voices that objected.

”I came here for revenge, not to collect equipment.”

”Hmph, I don't give a damn about the equipment. If you wanted to collect equipment, then I'll go find the others!”

Qin Ruo glanced at the man and woman who spoke. He had never seen them before, so they might not be from his department in the company. Yet looking at them gnashing their teeth, he believed they must have been holding back their anger today—it would be not easy to persuade them.

Hence he agreed and said, ”That's fine too! You may go and pick a fight with them and in turn aid in our operation. If your equipment drops, we might provide compensation. But please remember…”

”You are there to harm them, not kill them!”

”Okay!”

Both of them did not expect Qin Ruo to give them such a response. Not only did he allow them to leave the party, but also freed them of any worries. Happily, they quickly nodded and moved toward Qin Ruo's directed route, to meet up with the closest Citadel players.

After a Priest and a Swordsman left, Qin Ruo was only left with nineteen people behind him—at least that was the number in his heart.

Tier 4 Devilcroc were beginning to respawn everywhere on the battlefield! They constantly respawned and appeared nearby the party—even charging all of a sudden from the hidden marsh traps, which instantly made the situation complicated as players were killed frequently in battle.

As the four parties of Eight Gods Clan were dealing with the Devilcroc that were charging at them from all directions, they also had to face the sly ”Gargantuan Demoncroc” carefully. This big guy had been avoiding a direct battle with players from the beginning and had been sending its ”subordinates” as cannon fodder to wear down the Eight Gods Clan's members—sneaky bastard!

Outside the battlefield, Eight Gods Clan's people were frowning. An Overlord was indeed not that easy to handle—more than four hundred people had been fighting but almost half killed!

Eight Gods secretly blamed his unforgiving enemies for the continuous disturbances. Otherwise, he would have dispatched more elite members to encircle the Boss—what was the point of these sort of offensive attacks now? Despite being disheartened, he did not waste a single minute. He quickly ordered a Priest to resurrect dead players while commanding a few senior members to take lead two parties in providing backup...

There were still four parties guarding the area, which would be sufficient to cope with many unexpected situations!

Once the elite party arrived, they immediately eased into the main battlefield with an extremely powerful force as the Tier 4 Devilcroc did not even have the slightest power to resist their attacks. The chaotic battle was instantly quelled.
