However, it is not incurable. Wait until I bring you out, we can look for a place to let you bathe with a couple of herbs, and with my spells, you could recover within three days.”

Gu Xijiu had great medicinal skills. She had already inspected his veins while helping him to break free from the chains.

Yun Yanli's injury was, in fact, not lethal. It was only because he had failed to get immediate treatment, and was being experimented with different medicines that he ended up that way.

Yun Yanli had been helping her a lot in the past. Throughout the few hundred years, he had been by her side as she paid the Mighty Immortals numerous visits. He had devoted his time and effort, so Gu Xijiu was indebted to him. Now that he was in trouble, it was only natural for her to help him with all her abilities.

She pushed him out to the tortuous Cherry Blossom forest, and towards the side of a deep pond.

The hills and cliffs surrounded them. To leave the place, they would have to ride on a bird or something, or by following the original route towards the Tree Palace and exit from there.

Gu Xijiu was carrying Yun Yanli, so she was unable to fly over. She was considering going through the Tree Palace when suddenly, the sound of a bird broke the silence of the sky, and two huge birds emerged from within the clouds and landed between Yun Yanli and her.
