Purple feathers and a green abdomen, with jade-green tips at the wings. They were as big as storks and looked as grim as can be. Gu Xijiu's heart stopped for a moment. Were these two birds the legendary birds with poisonous feathers? Such birds were a real rarity in the world. It was even more uncommon to spot two at the same time.

This kind of bird was extraordinarily poisonous and was immune to any sort of poison. That was why they were able to pass through the blossom garden mist from the above. The two birds looked incredibly proud as they kept their chests up.

One of the birds tilted its head to the side and looked at Gu Xijiu. It suddenly spoke to her. ”We will bring you there.”

Gu Xijiu was puzzled. She seeked more information. ”Who is your master?”

”We will bring you there.” The bird only reiterated.

Perhaps it only knew that sentence? Gu Xijiu was somewhat disappointed.

However, with the two birds before her, it meant that her biggest problem had been solved and she would not have to take the long way through the Tree Palace.

Each bird could accommodate one rider comfortably, but two was rather tricky.

Yun Yanli wanted to keep his dignity. He did not want Gu Xijiu to take care of him as if he was a paralyzed person. He hit his palm on the ground and pushed himself up onto the back of one of the birds.

Gu Xijiu saw that he was rather agile; hence, she was not too concerned. She then hopped onto the back of the other bird. The birds then flapped their wings and took off.

Fortunately, along the way, Gu Xijiu realized that the two birds could understand her. Therefore, she could instruct them on the directions. They immediately flew to a nearby city and landed in a restaurant.

Those kinds of birds were extremely rare. So, when Gu Xijiu and Yun Yanli touched down, they caused a sensation and invited the people to crowd them.

”This… is this the legendary bird with poisonous feathers?”
