Where was that white-shirted person? Gu Xijiu felt dismayed. She scanned the surroundings in the cavern but could not find any trace of that person.

Could he have hidden inside the depths of the cave? Gu Xijiu pursed her lips and decided to go deeper. From the dark void, a voice began to emerge. ”Don't persist on looking for him anymore. You have no fate with him.”

That voice was magnetic.

”Who are you?” Gu Xijiu took the opportunity to ask.

That voice just sighed in response. ”Since it's someone who you don't share a fate with, why bother asking?”

”Who are you?” Gu Xijiu pressed on the question.

That voice went into silence for a long time. When it began to sound again, it did not answer Gu Xijiu's question. ”Must you really look for him?”

She must, right? Gu Xijiu felt that she had formed a strong resolve to find that person. She nodded her head in response, ”I must!”

”Why do you want to look for him? What if he no longer exists or has changed?”
