He sized Gu Xijiu with curious eyes but still could not figure out her origin. ”Where are you from?”

”Earth.”

The man in white frowned in bewilderment. ”Your information is too general. There are so many people from Earth.” He then pointed at some of the blue and green men. ”They have ascended from different parts of the Earth. There are hundreds of thousands of regions. Can you be more specific about the continent where you came from?”

She obviously did not know that there were hundreds of thousands of regions. The men in blue robes caught Gu Xijiu's attention. These men were wearing similar blue robes as Long Siye after he survived the catastrophe. All the blue robes were of similar handicrafts, if not identical. The only difference to tell them apart was the embroidery pattern at the corner of their robes.

The men in blue and green were in a total of about a hundred and eighty people. Apparently, they had just arrived in heaven as well, as they looked somewhat excited. She took a quick glance at these people, but could not see Long Siye.

The young man was still waiting for an answer, so she answered him accordingly. He was obviously perplexed. ”You do not seem like you have just ascended.”

”She found the Sky Bridging Tree. I was defeated, so I had to carry her here,” the five-colored bird told the man about their encounter. Surprisingly, it had not left.

The man in white took a look at the tail of the five-colored bird that was almost bald. ”I got it,” he answered with a nod.

He turned to look at Gu Xijiu again. ”I can see that you are a very capable person. Please proceed as you wish.” This time, he did not sound as arrogant as before.

The same situation had not happened for thousands of years.

It was normal to have people in heaven through proper ascension, but cases like Gu Xijiu were extremely rare.

The man was ready to leave, but Gu Xijiu had to find out more. ”Mr. Immortal, do you have a minute? I want to ask you about a man.”
