1842 Heaven 3 (1/2)
The ground was paved with pale green jade stones into different auspicious designs. The plaza was wreathed in a vibrant luminescence. The plaza bustled with people who dressed in a similar appearance.
Some people dressed in blue robes, some in green. Some were in white. The ones in blue and green were obviously of lower statuses. They had been following the people in white robes in one direction, seemingly well disciplined. Their behaviors were quiet and orderly.
Gu Xijiu maintained her usual appearance with her black robe and the obviously vile looking mask. When she landed, she was clearly an outstanding one. Immediately, she attracted many curious eyes.
Gu Xijiu could not care less about the attention. Except for the people in colored robes, there were children in different clothing which looked somewhat like a uniform. Some of these children were sweeping the floor. Others were feeding the birds in the square. All in all, the children were doing the chores, so they were clearly the servants.
The legends were true. In heaven, the spiritual power that one possessed was at least level nine. She could tell from their glistening aura that shone faintly, like a halo.
These children servants were obviously the lowest in the ranking, which was still about level nine. The people in blue and green were at level ten or so. The ones in green, however, were slightly better than the ones in blue.
The men in white robes, the ones that were leading the way, possessed a celestial aura that proved them to be at least level ten and above.
The mortals from the earth had to achieve a particular milestone to ascend to heaven, so anyone of spiritual power at level ten would be considered as one of the best. Social segregation of classes still existed. The recognition for spiritual power in heaven, however, might differ from Earth.
What were the standards in heaven? Did she belong in the middle or lower class?
As Gu Xijiu had just arrived, she was completely unsure of the standards. A young man in white robes approached her. ”How can I address you?”
”As a passerby,” Gu Xijiu answered briefly.
The man in white was confused.
