She took a swift leap across the air, which caught the attention of the people nearby. These soldiers could tell that someone was there. Alerted, all of them flashed their weapons at the intruder, but there was no intruder in sight.

”Who is there?” One of the officers shouted out loud.

The only answer that they could hear was the sound of the wind whistling through the door, sending cold chills down their spine. Aghast, they looked at one another helplessly. ”Did you see anyone?” The officer asked his men.

All of the armed men shook their heads.

”Could it be… Could it be the creator of the universe? She must be mad at us for taking away her servant.”

”It cannot be. If she is here, the one that she should be looking for is the king. Why would she come here to scare us?”

”Officer, should we report this to the king?”

After giving it much thought, the officer decided that it was a bad idea. ”No need, perhaps it was only a mistake. If it is found to be a false report, death will await us.”

The Monster King was a ruthless man. The officer should not take the report to the king without a clear description of the intruder's appearance and capabilities. That would only result in punishment for the officer.
