2800 Meeting Again (1/2)
The officer's daughter was one of the many victims that were killed by the princess. Although the princess was sentenced to death, the penalty had yet to be carried out. Knowing how much the Monster King actually cared for his sister, many things could still happen before the princess was truly dismembered. In order to minimize any potential trouble, the officer decided not to report the incident so that the Monster King had one less thing to worry about.
These armed men were loyal to the officer, so they would surely listen to his every command. A timid man fearfully asked, ”Officer, if the intruder is really the creator of the universe, should we attack her when she shows up later?”
The officer firmly shook his head in disapproval. ”No. Legend has it that anyone who does any harm to the creator of the universe shall be punished by God and lead a miserable life.”
The creator of the universe caught the murderer who killed his daughter, so the officer respected her. He could not care less if the intruder was only an imposter; he would never allow his men to do any harm to her.
His men were bewildered, for they had never heard of any legends that forbade anyone from harming the creator of the universe. However, they unquestionably believed everything that the officer said.
Gu Xijiu listened to their conversation from a hidden corner and was amused. She had never heard of such sayings either. It seemed like the officer was only trying to scare off his men. In fact, she was not expecting anyone from the enemy to actually be on her side, so this came as a surprise to her.

Gu Xijiu paid a few visits to different groups of soldiers in the same manner as she did before. Her surprise visits had caused great alarm. Some even thought it could be a paranormal encounter. Others thought that it was a warning sign from the creator of the universe.
The armed men had become anxious and doubtful. However, they were more worried about being punished by the Monster King if they did not do their job, so none of the officers reported the incident to the authority.
Certainly, many of them had their own thoughts about what they would do when the creator showed up. Some were simply not ready to bear the title of being the murderer of a divine being. Before they could be sure that the person was an imposter, they would choose to hold their weapons, or at most, act like they were fighting.
Gu Xijiu took less than an hour to terrorize the soldiers. Relieved, the false alarm had solved some of her major problems. With the recovery of her strength, it should be enough for her to take care of the Monster King alone. If the soldiers could stay out of the fight, she was confident that she would win.
