33 Chapter 32 (1/2)

Seeing the number of wasps, I had no choice but to transform into my hybrid form and create two clones. I had left only two to protect my crew and to look over the exhausted giants. There shouldn't be any more dangers on Little Garden, but I didn't want to take the chance.

The two clones I made each created one more, and we started eliminating the insects.

The wasps were like an endless wave and started non-stop pouring out of the nest.

They were beating their wings in unison and started increasing the surrounding temperature. The sound they were producing from their flapping was mentally exhausting as well, so we had to split apart, to not get entrapped and surrounded.

With our speed, the wasps stood no chance against us. They didn't try running away, so that made things easier for us.

After killing a few thousand of them, a bigger wasp came out of the nest, the Queen. She didn't have the same yellow and black coloration as the rest. The Queen wasp had a bright green body, with a few red stripes in the middle. She was around twice the height of the wasps from her nest.

”You are ruining my hard work!” The Queen wasp screeched before she flew at high speeds towards one of the clones. Nonetheless, she was still slower.

Previously she managed to sneak up on the clone who had infiltrated into the nest. Otherwise, the Queen wasp wouldn't have managed to capture the clone.

Unfortunately, the clone she attacked couldn't damage her, since the Queen wasp turned herself into honey, and his attacks went right through her. This complicated things since I thought she could use honey to attack, not turn into it. I didn't expect her to be a Logia user, but I still had the confidence to deal with her, so that didn't scare me.

Having seen that I couldn't eliminate with the Queen wasp immediately, I focused on going after the surrounding wasps.

It took us some time, but we managed to get rid of all the wasps around us, and no more were coming of out the nest.

The Queen wasp didn't stop screeching and chasing whoever was closest to her, be it me or a clone. Despite seeing all of her workers getting killed, she didn't escape. I was hoping that would discourage her and make her leave from here.

Logia users are a pain in the ass to deal with when they are paying attention and have transformed into their element form.

Attacking her did absolutely nothing, and I was thinking of possible ways to deal with her. While pondering on what to do, an idea popped into my head. I made my way to one of my clones and told him what I had in mind.

The clone enlarged himself and used Soru to appear behind the Queen wasp. With a chomp, the clone swallowed her whole.

After eating her, the clone rushed towards the river going through the middle of Little Garden. Once he reached there, the clone jumped inside the water. The moment he was submerged, he was dispelled, but the Queen wasp was already underwater.

I received a surge of memories from the clone eating her, accompanied by the pain he experienced from her being inside of him. But the Queen wasp was no more. I don't believe she would be able to escape from there, considering she was a Devil Fruit user.

After I dealt with the wasps, Robin walked up to me. ”Are you sure there is a Poneglyph in the nest or were you trying to showcase your strength?”

”I can assure you there is one there, like I said I mean you no harm,” I told Robin and walked inside the nest. She followed behind me but still kept her distance.

There were a few more wasps in the nest, but I dealt with them on the way. Robin was quiet and didn't say anything else while moving towards the mysterious stele.

The Poneglyph was located in the bottom of the nest, so it didn't take us long to reach it.

The dark blue colored stele was four meters high and four meters in width. The language carved on it was something I had never seen before and had no clue what was written.

”It truly is here!” I heard Robin exclaim once we entered the chamber with the Poneglyph. The moment I saw it, I couldn't keep my eyes away from it. I felt a connection with the stele, like it was calling to me.
