Nami POV:

I was scouting the Marine base in Shells town and noting down the routine of the marines. I saw the famouse pirate hunter Roronoa Zoro being tied to a pole in the middle of the field. Supposebly he made a deal to be tied there without food for a month and they will realease him.

While looking for an easy way into the marine base, I noticed a pink haired boy and someone with a strawhat near one of the walls. Shortly a little girl with came along and jumped over the wall.

What transpired after that made me really angry. I didnt expect for the marines to throw the girl over the wall. For god sake the wall is over 4 meters tall, the girl will get seriausly injured. I'm normally very confident in my speed, however there is no way for me to get to the girl before falling. Luckily the boy who looks to be around my age, was able to catch her with a burst of speed.

I saw him hugging her and comforting her, he seems like a really nice guy. At least the little girl is safe, I didn't bother staying any longer, as for some reason there are very few marines in the base right now. Not wasting anymore time I entered the Marine base, hoping to find something valuable, after all it's not easy to gather a hundred million berry.

Unfortunatley, I was not able to find anything of value and I even heard that those marines were raising the taxes in town. At the very least there was some information on Buggy The Clown, supposedly he has a map for the Grand Line. If I play my cards correctly and steal the map from him, I should be able to rob a few pirates from that place and gather all the money that I need to buy back my village.

After sneaking around for a bit longer, I found out that all the money from the base was used to creat a giant statue for Captain Morgan. I'm starting to hate marines just as much as I hate pirates. Arlong has been acting like king and captureing villages for the past ten years and no one has stopped him yet.

As I was leaving the base, I metthe kid with the straw hat in one of the coridors. He seems to be searching the rooms as well, maybe he is a thief like me?. He looks quite ripped and not that bad looking with that goofy smile he has. Seeing how he is looking at me, I can easily guess he finds me atractive.

Deciding to break the silence, I asked him what he is doing here. He suprised me when he told me he is looking for Roronoa Zoros swords, which should be in Captain Morgan's son room. For a second, I though of going back and getting them for myself, maybe they are expensive, however, I decided this is his haul and simply pointed him in the right direction.

He shocked me when he told me 'Until we meet again', that cought me of guard and I imagined what would be to actually have friends which I would be able to meet up with and have fun. Most of the time I am either swindilling someone or running away from someone. I probably stayed still for a minute or so thinking about it and when I was done with my thouhgs, he was already gone.

Moments later, I heard a commotion outside. I went to the nearest window and saw him already in the middle of the field where Zoro is tied up. We were on the seventh floor, how did he get down that fast. I saw him and the pirate hunter beating the marines like they were fighting children. Zoro does have reputation for being strong, however who is this straw hat guy, I have never heard of him and he seems playing with those guys.

Captain Morgan came storming in shortly and he was beaten just as easaliy. I don't know if there was something wrong with my sight or not, but the straw hat guy was throwing punches from a few meters away and his arms were streatching and hitting the marine.

After I saw Morgan get knocked out, I decided to leave the base and see if I can maybe coax them to help me on a few heists. I followed them to a local restaurant where everyone was trying to treat them as much as possible. Seems like morgan was terrorizing both the citizens of the town and the marines as well.

I didn't get a chance to talk to them, but I figured that once they are done with their meal I would be able to ask them. Unfortunatley I saw a dozen or so marines entering the restaurant and asking them if they are pirates. They confirmed that they are indeed pirates. The marines simply asked them to leave the town and told them about a small boat that. Conveniantley no one owned the boat and there was even map and a compass on it.

I get it that they save the town from Morgan, however, I never believed the marines will actually help them, what is going on here. They didn't even try to reason with the marines and simply got ready to leave. What boggled me was that the townsfolk were actually angry at the marines for making them leave. Did they not hear them just confirm they are pirates? Why would you want them to stay?

Next thing I know, the straw hat guy is beating the pink haired boy. Were they not companions? What is going on here?

This town is definatley too crazy for me, so I simply decided it's time to go. I will go and try to rob Buggy out of his map and see my luck on the Grand Line.

After seeing them set sail, I was suprised one more time, by seeing both the citizens of the town and the marines saluting the two pirates. I think i need a few dozen drink right now, in order to comprehend what happened here.
