Ling Jing Shu was about to reject her but then something flashed through her mind.

Ling Jing Xian's eyes flashed with joy and relief and she clenched Ling Jing Shu's hand, “Cousin Shu, you don't reply me, I will take it as you have agreed to it.”

Ling Jing Shu raised her eyebrows, “When did I agreed to it?”

“If my wish come true in the future, I will not forget your kindness today.” Ling Jing Xian turned a blind eye to Ling Jing Shu's words and said quickly, “I have been here for so long, I should go back. Cousin Shu should rest properly as well. Tomorrow morning I will come over and we can go greet grandmother together.”

After that, she hurriedly got up and left.

Ling Jing Shu, “…”

After Ling Jing Xian left, Bai Yu quickly came in. When she saw Ling Jing Shu's unpleasant face, she immediately asked with concern, “What did Eighth Miss said to you?”

Ling Jing Shu couldn't helped but talked unhappily, “I don't know what she want, I don't bother to care about her.”

Bai Yu became confused.

Ling Jing Shu explained in a more simpler way, “Cousin Xian fell in love with Lu Family Cousin at first sight. Today she come to plead me, asked me to stay away from him.”

Bai Yu, “…”

Bai Yu's face showed anger look, “How can Eighth Miss say such thing, it really is too much.”

How can there be such logic in this world.

Don't say that Miss had not seen Lu Family's young master, there was nothing to be said. Even if they had met and Master Lu fell in love with Miss, Miss should give Master Lu to Eighth Miss? Or if such thing happen, she want to blame it on Miss?

Ling Jing Shu was a bit angry initially, but after looking Bai Yu who was getting angry for herself, that anger quickly dissipate, “Never mind about it, it is just a small issue, it is not worth being angry about it.”

After a pause, she said faintly, “In fact, even if she doesn't say it, I will also keep a distant away from Lu Young Master.”

She hoped that in this life time, they would forever be strangers.
