Chapter 5, Part 2: Thought

On the second day morning, Ling Jing Xian really came very early.

When met her, Ling Jing Xian called ‘Cousin Shu' very intimately, and then she took the initiative to choose clothes and jewelries for Ling Jing Shu.

“Cousin Shu, come and try this lotus colored dress, and also try on this red ruby head accessory.” Ling Jing Xian hung a bright smile on her face and she was very enthusiastic.

Bai Yu stood at the side looking at them, and she was angry and sulking.

This lotus color looked a bit dark and not bright enough. Previously, when picking fabric, this fabric was the leftover after all other misses had picked. Miss was good tempered, she was not calculative and brought this fabric back to make a dress but she had never wore it before.

There was also this red ruby head accessory. It was given by Old Madam Ling during Chinese New Year. Although the workmans.h.i.+p was superb, it was also more old-fas.h.i.+oned.

Ling Jing Xian picked those items, definitely had no good intention at all.

Bai Yu coughed and euphemistically said, “Eighth Miss, I think it is best to pick another one.”

“Cousin Xian's taste is good.” Ling Jing Shu smiled and interrupted Bai Yu, “I will wear this set. Bai Yu, come help me dress up.”

Bai Yu reluctantly responded, secretly biting her teeth in her heart. When she took the dress from Ling Jing Shu's hands, she couldn't stop herself from saying some sarcastic remarks, “Eighth Miss's taste is really good. Our Miss wear these today, definitely will left a deep impression on everyone.”

Bai Yu deliberately mentioned the words ‘deep impression' with more weight.

No matter how much little thoughts Ling Jing Xian's had, in the end, she had not yet cultivated to the realm of thick face and black heart, so she suddenly felt awkward.

Ling Jing Shu quietly made a look at Bai Yu.

Bai Yu shut her mouth and quickly helped Ling Jing Shu dress up.

When Ling Jing Shu appeared after dressed up, Ling Jing Xian's round eyes widened up in shock.

The not so pleasing lotus color, wore on Ling Jing Shu, it became very stunning. The cheek was as white as jade had a touch of pink. Her hair was tied up very beautifully like cloud, and a set of red gold and ruby red head accessory was worn neatly, showing the dignified and calmness of the girls of the same age.

Although she was not as stunning as usual, it was definitely more eye-catching and making people couldn't s.h.i.+ft their eyes away.
