Chapter 93: Explosive Burst. (1/2)
”Pushing it from Christmas Eve to December the 18th, in other words, the day after tomorrow... Do you really think it would work out better?” The President asked.
”What other choice do we have? They're attacking our refugees. I've sent out some of my highest ranked squads available for duty and two squads have already been wiped to the nobles.
The others are engaging as we speak, meaning their fleets defences are down... We'll have to make it succeed, for our continents benefit.” The Angel Opposition Corps Executive replied.
”Very well... Since we're pushing things forward, we might as well discuss one of the most important factors now...”
”And that would be...?”
”The king... They have a king, who resides on the fleet beneath the giant cube. I suspect that he may be the most powerful of them all.”
The president's expression grew serious.
”Even if we can successfully infiltrate and destroy a few fleets... It'll be for nothing if we can't take their king... But do we even have someone or a squad capable of performing such a feat? One which will decide the fate of our nation?”
”It'll take an entire squad of people with level 5 Potential abilities in the minimum, just to be safe. If we don't have one available... No matter what it We'll just make one...”

”Why'd you stop attacking!? Things have only started to get fun!” He shouted as he leapt at her.
Whilst avoiding the small pieces of rubble and dust which was falling down as everything began to collapse, Delta too leapt at his glowing figure.
She glanced back at the girl, confirming that she was safe, before the two collided.
*CLANG!*
*BOOOOM!*
Delta's sword was knocked back to the side, but she didn't let go. Veins bulged out of her hand. She grit her teeth as the two unleashed a barrage of attacks on one another.
*CLANG!* *CLANG!* *CLANG!*
The noble was insanely fast. Delta had been trying to angle her swings perfectly so that they they wouldn't collide.
But he was somehow predicting her swing trajectories and throwing his punches aiming for them to collide.
Explosive Flames would burst forth from their collisions, affecting the surroundings as she would be knocked back, with every attack.
Even his every step was an issue as that too would set off explosions. She was doing her best to keep him from moving to prevent the cracks from progressing.
The flames themselves weren't having an effect on her, but cracks were slowly forming on her swords and the explosions were causing injuries and numbing her hands.
She was being pushed back, their fight was drawing closer to the young girl who she was trying to protect way faster than she had expected.
She knew she needed to do something.
She cancelled her swing mid-way and suddenly stepped in.
He was caught off guard by this as he hadn't expected her to take such a risky move. But it mattered not, for this was his territory.
His punch carried on, heading straight for her face.
*Swoosh!*
It ended up barely grazing her cheek however as she swayed to the right.
A grin grew on his face as he had been waiting for that moment. A left hook followed right after, heading straight for collision.
There was no time to dodge, she had walked right into it.
*Swoosh!*
His eyes widened, as the hook passed right through her face. He felt no connection. It felt as if he had punched through burning hot air.
In that instant, her face burst into flames which spread onto his arm.
'What!? It was a fake!?' The thought flashed through his mind
