Chapter 33: Asserting Dominance. (1/2)
After that, Aurora snapped. When she came to it, her sister's corpse was gone and the whole place was frozen in a blue chilling ice. On her own, Aurora had stayed there for the whole week until Gray had arrived, every night she struggled to sleep, having nightmares and reliving the scene over and over again.
”Hah… Because of me, the only one who actually gave a damn died… Isn't it funny?” She asked as she placed her palm on her face. ”Maybe I should've been the one to die instead of her.”
Gray was taken a back, he wanted to deny it. He wanted to grab her and prove to her that she was wrong, but did he even have the right?
”Aurora…”
Aurora suddenly got up, just as he called out to her, interrupting him as she said. ”I'm going to go get some fresh air… Don't worry about me.”

Aurora strolled through the sector, trying to clear her mind. Her eyes still cold, holding but a glint of light.
”Why did I react that way?” She asked, letting out a sigh.
'After everything he's done… Argh…! I'm so stupid!'
”Why did I have to tell him about that…? Why did…” She calmed down as memories of her sister flashed by her mind. Her nose reddened, and tears swelled up on her eyes again. ”*Sniff*”
Without saying anything, she continued to walk. The sweet alluring scent from the restaurants seemed to have no affect on her loss of appetite. She wanted to go back and applies to Gray but she wasn't even sure how she'd look him in the eye.
”Sorry Gray…”
Aurora was interrupted, as a voice called out to her from behind.
”Oi, Gray's girl!” The voice said.
Confused, Aurora turned back to the voice, only to find a group of six boys, approaching her.
The three leading the group were the ones which she could sort of remember. Bald with brown eyes. He was the one who was eating the donut. The other was the one with short spiky black hair, and piercings all over his ears.
And the last, Axel. He stopped just ahead of her, towering over her as he gazed at her with his sharp white eyes. Snow white hair, dyed red throughout the edges.
If not for the fact that they were Gray's friends, Aurora wouldn't have recognized them.
”Gray's friends… What do you want?” She asked with a moody tone.
Axel could see from her eyes that she was having a bad day, for him, girls in this state couldn't have been any easier to take advantage of.
”Yeah, that's right, We're Grays friends.” Said Axel with a friendly smile.
”Best friends!” Luke added as he forced a smile.
The other guys also nodded.
Aurora found their reaction strange, somewhat faked even. But since Gray seemed to recognize them, there wasn't much to doubt.
She raised her brow, gesturing that she was waiting for them to say what they wanted.
”Ah… Right. We were passing by and noticed that you looked a little down, so we were wondering if you wanted to maybe hang out with us? We'll hopefully bring up your mood.” He said as he gave an innocent smile.
