12 Changes And Time. (1/2)
After spending another few months training my body in calisthenics, cardio, and to attain a perfectly balanced Strength-Speed-Stamina body, Zebro started to increase my weights every two days. Apparently, the harder I train, the faster my body recovers. I'm not sure how it works, but I know the System has something to do with it.
Killua and I hang out often, with him coming to visit the cabin at least two times a week. We mostly just play random games and compete with each other over silly, little things like who can jump higher, or who can get to a higher level in this world's equivalent of Tetris. A little-known fact about me is that I am a Tetris Master rank, so I kept winning every time we played.
Really quickly, I'm eating breakfast with Seaquant before he goes on his s.h.i.+ft. Recently, he has been nicer to me and has even offered to help me train my body when Zebro can't. I think he finally realized that I'm not that bad, especially since we have been living in the same cabin for almost eight months now! I can't believe that I only have four months before the hunter's exam!
All the training has paid off though. After I reached two hundred kilograms in the vest, we changed weights. My weights now weigh about five hundred kilograms, and it shows. My body toning really well now, my muscles are far more defined than before.
The vest is pretty thin because of the new weights being used, but they are harder than steel. They weigh more too. I think the weights might be altered with Nen because I haven't heard of a metal, alloy, or material this heavy and hard before. I'm not sure whose Nen ability this is, but it's really cool!

Speaking of Nen, Zebro told me that once I could lift eight hundred kilograms with each arm that he would teach me how to use a special technique to help with my training. He didn't tell me it was Nen, but I think he was referring to Nen. Zebro also told me that Seaquant might start to teach me how to fight once I learn the technique he was referring to.
I can only lift about six hundred eighty kilograms for about thirty minutes in each arm for now, but soon I should be able to hold seven hundred kilograms. I think that Zebro set eight hundred as my requirement because he wanted to give me some time to get used to Nen while still being on track to open the First Gate without Nen.
A few months ago, I told Zebro and Seaquant that I planned to take the hunter's exam. After I told them, they looked at each other and laughed. Apparently, they already knew that was my goal, so they weren't even surprised when I told them. Of course, I haven't told them why I want to become a hunter. To be honest, I'm not even sure why I want to become a hunter other than to meet Gon, Kurapika, and Leorio.

Right now, I'm on my way to the forest to meditate. I've spent every day for the past seven months working on meditation, and it's allowed me to think much clearer. It's also had a calming effect on me, which makes sense from what I've seen. Another cool thing that I found out from my meditation is that I started to conceal my presence and blend in with nature. It's kind of like during the hunter exam when Gon was hunting Hisoka and learned to kill off his presence to hide.
I started to listen to the forest when meditation and found a sense for nature... I almost feel like I really did comprehend a Dao or something. I understand wildlife to an extent, and they seem to understand me.
I think this is what Kite meant when he said good hunters are well-liked by animals. They seem calm around me, and they bring a sort of peace to me as well. It's a really nice feeling and I wish that I could share it with Killua. It's too bad that he isn't willing to meditate with me, that would make things so much more interesting!
