The autumn sun had set long ago and the silver crescent moon hung high up in the sky. All the Adventurers that had gone out to level up had returned to the village, and most of them had already gone offline. The casual Civilian players, on the other hand, took advantage of the moon being out and viewed the rarely seen beautiful scenery. The night scenery of Night Whisper Forest was extremely pretty, be it the sky filled with stars; the moon, which looked like a painting; or Night Whisper Village, which was filled with glittering light. The scenery was as charming as a landscape drawing, and this was the best place for dating, especially for couples in love. Occasionally, couples hugging each other could be seen on the benches along the stone pathway or in the between the bushes under the moonlight. Although unlocking the OOXX system required quite the amount of Scroll Points, it was still one of the most popular paid services among Civilian players.
Within this romantic atmosphere, it was a completely different scene in the forest not far away from Night Whisper Village.
There were Goblins, Gnolls, Kobolds, Human Bandits, and all kinds of various monsters completely filling up the gaps between the trees. These monsters had started gathering at that place at 11 PM. Now, after an hour had passed, a few hundred of them had assembled. Although this number sounds small, it was totally different if one saw it with their own eyes. The whole place was packed with monsters—it was quite a spectacular scene.
“So, how’s the situation in the village now?” asked Xiao Yu impatiently.
“I’ve finished scouting, Boss. Aost of the Adventurers have already gone offline. Now there are less than 10 Adventurers in the village, though there are quite a few Civilian players. However, they don’t have much battle strength, so there’s no need to worry at all.”
“Got it. That’s good.” Xiao Yu nodded in satisfaction. He then took a look at the black panther beside him. “Death Claw, why aren’t your few friends still not here? If they do not come soon, we’ll have to attack without them.”
