Chapter 11 The Mistress Miao Weiwei (2/2)
I put away the mobile phone, and rode the tram straight to Babao Mountain. Only a few minutes had gone by when my phone rang again.
”Who is this?” I pulled out the phone. It was a relatively strange number, but out of professional habits, I directly introduce myself, “Hello, I am a tattoo artist. How can I help you?”
From the other end there came a woman’s slightly hoarse, laughing voice, “hah, Yu Shui, my old classmate, I haven’t met you in these past few years. You have become a tattooist? Hah, how is life now?”
”Not so good. Who are you?” The voice I heard was familiar. It must have been my friend, but I could not figure out which friend.
”Forget? I'm Miao... Wei... Wei.” The woman deliberately elongated the tone.
I patted my head, “Oh, class beauty, hello.”
Miao Weiwei was my high school classmate. I used to have a good feeling toward her, but she had a very high vision and she usually didn't look at me.
Later I heard from the rest of the students who knew the inside story that when Miao Weiwei was in college, she became the lover of a big boss; then she was promoted and became the wife of the big boss.
“I remember, I remember. Everyone said you married a good husband, and now you are wearing gold and silver,” I said.
“He is not very good, just rich; illiterate and uncultured.” Miao was only being modest. She went on, “But my life is good. Have you seen Chen Xiuli? She was also beautiful and found a college husband, but what was the use? That college student had culture but could not to earn money. Every day she was as poor as a dog. I cannot even imagine it.”
I felt a bit of discomfort when hearing this. You are kept as a mistress by your husband. Her life is poor, but at least she relies on her own hands to make money, so why are you showing off?
But I could not say that out loud, because it only takes a few words to offend someone, and she didn’t have it coming.
I smiled again, ”Alas, life is impermanent. Oh, what do you want me to do?”
”Nothing, just talking to you; we are old friend of many years, aren’t we?” She said.
When she said that I thought to myself, don’t take it so seriously. Our relationship wasn’t that good. Have you even sent me a QQ message from our high school graduation five or six years ago? You call me an old friend?
I coughed, “Class Beauty Miao, since you said we are old friends, if you have something to say, just say it.”
“OK, to be frank,” she said happily,” I read your article in your QQ space, and it said that Yin and Yang Tattoo is particularly powerful; it can exorcise ghosts?”
