Chapter 8 Protecting Master
I didn’t know what happened, but Mimi was scared to tears: “Hum…hum…I can feel she is behind me, just behind me. Xiao Bai……Xiao Bai……stay away from me, I was so good to you with good drink and food, so please don’t hurt me.”
I looked behind her, and seemed to find the vague human eyes.
Those eyes were not so clear, but I could feel that they were a woman’s.
“Oh, my god…it really exists!” I also got scared.
Mimi was trembling in my arms: “Please don’t hurt me… Please…I always did good things and never bad, except for my own body.”
I hugged her tightly. To be honest, I got scared too, as I’d never seen such an extraordinary thing before ever since I opened my shop.
I hugged her, shrunk my neck and looked at the window secretly.
Those eyes in the window became increasingly clear and real.
I didn’t know what to do, when suddenly came a woman’s scream: “Ah”.
Mimi and I got scared upon hearing the sound. She cried bitter tears, and I also trembled with her in my arms.
But later, a dull sound came from the tattoo studio: chi.
Then there was a few minutes’ silence.
I lowered my head and shoved my face in Mimi’s shoulder, but I didn’t see anything in the house.
I knew it was the longest half a minute of my life.
I couldn’t feel any movement in the house, so l looked up cautiously and saw some changes: the eyes in the window disappeared. Instead, there was a human shadow.
I was quietly familiar with that shadow. It was exactly the red lotus Yaksha I was planning to tattoo on Mimi’s chest.
The ribbon on its shoulder, the crown, and the magic pestle in its hand weren’t clearly visible on that shadow, but I could tell from the outline.
“Mimi, Mimi, just get up, our Yin and Yang Tattoo took effect.” I pointed at the window, while she was still crying.
